@MandatoryIDtag I was thinking removing those things entirely was the solution.

Removing aim punch overall would help with being able to fire back at targets in situations where diving for cover isn't an option. Give players who're already in a sticky situation a chance to recover by having unpredictable movement and better aim.

Move speed penalty overall I never understood, creating distance is an important skill for Apex in multitudes of situations, and one shot completely screwing your chances of being able to do so doesn't seem like a good feature. Apex is a movement based shooter, having more control of your movement opens up more options in combat, rather than what we have had, which was, "They have R99, Spitfire, R301, Volt, Devo, and now I'm locked down because I can't generate enough momentum to create distance for a chance to turn the fight around."

  • @pastaclown  I do like both factors in a way, they can also be deeply frustrating.

I would be happy to see both toned down slightly.

With regards to the flinch though if they would just add a gold magazine they could have it as a feature specifically linked to the magazine.

It's not something I can see being changed to be honest. Removal of both would probably reduce the TTK even further as there would be less hindrance to contend with in fights....and seeing how controversial that subject matter has been i can't see it going down too well with the community lol.

@MandatoryIDtag that's fair, it's just something that I've noticed a lot during my games. I'll frequently dive for cover but get hit once and get slowed to a crawl, or someone third parties while my shield is down and I get to watch the reticle of my 2x Volt drift further and further off target due to aim punch. It's annoying but, what can you do really.

Get rid of movement speed reduction when shot entirely. It's honestly dumb how when you get shot you slow down so you're even easier to shoot. Its never made sense from a gaming standpoint. It effectively lowers the skill needed to kill another player by making it easier to continue hitting them after the initial shot.
