Re: Report your Apex Legends Hacker

Hey all, please do not share links to any cheats you may see as doing so is technically a breach of the AHQ User Rules and Guidelines.

From here on out, any sharing of videos or naming of users and accusing them of cheating or linking to cheating sites will result in bans.

If you are in game and suspect a user of cheating then please report them by following the steps in this link: https://www.easy.ac/en-us/support/apexlegends/contact/report/

We take all reports very seriously and will fully investigate.

  • There is an in-game report function coming soon. A 20-30 sec. kill cam replay would be better.

The current after death spectator mode is OK. Except that it lets the suspect player know they're being spectated.

A in-game report button is a much requested feature.

I think it will be added soon, it would be nice to have that in the game.

  • So finding hard evidence, video proof with the name tag of the hacker in the video will get you banned? Come on man. That really doesn't help the situation.

Reporting Cheaters will get you banned faster than using Cheats.

Your best bet is to do nothing at all, and let EA dig it's own grave for Protecting Cheaters.

im pretty sure they don´t cover up for cheaters,

unless they don´t own all cheatselling sites.

wich im pretty sure of they don´t.

we get our expierenced destroyed by cheaters,

    cheaters take away our fun.

wich is true and i can´t deny the fact i despise ALL cheaters.

(hope they die of ghonorrea and rotting in hell)

    but for EA andf Respawn.

they lose a lot of money wich im pretty sure they´ve invested in this game.

and since it´s free they hope for microtransactions. and for that my friend.

    they need us.

the majority of the playerbase that would love to spend some money ingame to

get an cool skin or such.

and since cheaters makes us abandon the game,

they literally taking away the money Respawn worked pretty damn hard to earn.

  • The hacks are out of control, and EA is wayyy behind the curve on this. They haven't even started scrambling to fix it, so they'll never catch up. No ingame reporting option, no death cam, none of the must-haves for a shooter in 2019.

I would report my cheaters but I would be reporting more than playing.

  • I still don't understand why people play FPS just to use cheats in the end.
  • Hmm I understand why EA's policy is this way but I also do believe there should be some way to report players in game. If there was such a way no one would feel the need to name shame them and it would also make players less likely to cheat overall.

The problem is that there are so many different cheats at the moment that EAC could not cope with. Ok there is a reporting system now ingame but does it really work? I've made a video from an hacker yesterday. But there is no way i could send it to EA or EAC. Sure i can contact EA but there is a file maximum of 5MB allowed. there must be another solution! 350k banned so far but that's not enough. They simply create another account and hide their HWID.

Yes Jacki don't mention cheaters cause you will be removed from here. This way it doesn't look as bad as it is.

Do yourself a favor play PUBG again, It's cleaner than this hot mess!

  • [CM Edit: Do not name and shame - if you suspect a user of cheating then please report them in game]

  • do you guys even check the reported cheaters or no? i've sent a lot of reports and none of them got viewed or downloaded. you can see # of downloads in uploadfiles.io but no one seems to at least investigate on the reports. funny

@OmgstfuEZ Perhaps you can submit as a video on youtube or another site? In some cases downloading files might be restricted I don't know about EAC tools, but perhaps there's an issue with viewing files in that format? In some cases downloading files might be restricted,. but unfortunately I don't have any visibility on that sort of thing.
