I'm going to take the wait and see approach. Basically everything I would want in this pass is in the back half this time. I don't feel like signing up to that right out of the gate. Add in the unknown of this new challenge system, and I will definitely take the wait and see approach.
Contrast that with Season 6 which I bought into from the start. There was a good number of items in the front half of the pass I wanted, and only a few past level 60 I liked. So even if I cut the pass short, I felt like I got what I wanted.
