Solos and duos is worth it

There's no point for duos, as it would be almost the same game as now. I can give you reasons against solos:
The playerbase will be split, this will lead to longer waiting times and potentially fewer available servers after a while ( to keep the queues filled at all times), which means higher ping for many players. it's not like in Overwatch, where only 8-12 players are needed for a match
Solo mode needs a serious rebalancing, otherwise Pathfinder is the only legend to pick, as it can reach places no other legends can (walls of repulsor area, for example), then snipe the hell out of everyone else. This legend can also move way faster than most, it can escape easier, stay longer outside the circle for looting.
If abilities would be removed in solo play, any new legend added would be as appealing as a new skin.
Pinging, reviving, respawning, shields, ultimate accelerants would be useless in solo mode. By the way, self revive shield in solo mode makes absolutely no sense, it will be obvious that a player has it because he's downed and not dead.
The game experience will lose its appeal: no more flanking, pinching, choking or other team strategies,but more camping and 4th-5th-6th partying and kill stealing will occur instead.
Solo mode would reduce the need to get more online friends to play with.
Apex is a team based game, it's build from the ground up to praise team values, such as cooperation and friendship, not just competitiveness. If its survival would depend on a solo mode it would be a big problem, like a failure of the product as it was originally intended.
I understand that many people request this solo mode, but I think very few actually understand what that entails. Besides, I'm pretty sure the devs tried a solo mode when developing Apex and probably decided then that is not viable. It is good to listen to the community, of course, but only up to a point, because it's mostly made from people that don't have the experience and creativity of the industry devs and often decide on a whim.

The playerbase will be split: It already is, People have left in droves for different reasons but one of them is being forced to play a game in a way they they don't find fun.
Solo mode needs a serious rebalancing : Apex is hardly a vertical game, The robot would be at an advantage on a perch, GIB/Octane/Wrath/Bang would be at an advantage in an open field and Caustic/Lifeline/Bloodhound would be at an advantage indoors. Nothing game breaking with a dynamic circle system.
Pinging, reviving, re spawning, shields, ultimate accelerants would be useless in solo mode.: Shields and Ulti accelerants are even more crucial in a solo mode.I dont see why they would lose any value...Your gonna get shot at and take damage and your gonna want to have your ulti up. Yes the rest would lose they're significance but if people want to play Solo/Duo then thats something they dont mind.

Solo mode would reduce the need to get more online friends to play with. : If a person is playing solo then im sure that isn't something hes worried about, Or maybe he has more than enough friends and doesn't care. But Duos themselves would produce much more "friendships" than the current 3's setup. People hardly talk in 3s anymore lol, They go in with a solo mindset and playstyle and mostly die alone at somepoint leaving the other 2 players in a duo situation. At least with duos (in my experience with PubG/Blackout) people are much more open to communicate.
You say "There's no point for duos" but don't offer any insight as to why. So let me give you some reasons Duos would be great for this game and its current stale state.
30 teams instead of 20, 29 other teams you have to account for. 29 other strategies that shouldn't boil down to 3rd teaming every fight, This speeds up the game in certain phases and slows it down in others.With 30 teams out there you cant just land in an obscure spot and hope to lay low until the final 3 teams.
Duos would make gearing up a faster chore instead of one that drags on, Alot less going from Loot spot to loot spot for players that are looking for action and not loot.
Teamwork is alot easier execute when the other moving part is a single person and not 2.
Skills would not lose any of their values
Socially its alot more personal so if your looking to make friends then Duos should be your first stop
Mitigates risk , Even you get qued with a new player the odds are still not bad But if you get qued with 2 new players...Thats when players go off alone creating a bad experience for those new players that qued up for a squad.
End of the day, Just let people do what they want to do. The games become less and less relevant in both viewership and active players and alot of that has to do with the 3s format.

    Solo in this current stage? Hitbox is everything you need in solo.

    2.Wraith
    3. Lifeline
    The rest no need to mention. You can try others for fun occasionally but there are absolutely no reason to play the rest. I will laugh if someone play Caustic in solo rofl

  How can a shield work in solo mode? The shield can be used when the player is downed, but this state's purpose is to have teammate assistance (revive). With no teammate(s), what 's the point of a shield or downed state?
  In an open field, Gibraltar and Caustic are target practice for medium / long range. It's not hard to headshot Gib over the shield, I've seen that happening a lot and did it myself. In close range, theit big hitboxes are perfect for peacekeepers, The smaller legenfs will win most close combats against the big boys.
  Pathfinder can get on top of rocks, antennas, trees, high walls very easily, without the need to use jump baloons. I've been in countless situations where me or a teammate got downed by a high-positioned, impossible to reach Pathfinder, in that case the ability to ping the enemy while downed and having the squadmates help was crucial.
  The map is designed for team play, its size works best for the current number of teams. I think it would be awful for 60 individual players, every place would be a hot drop and most of the time the survivors will be those that were lucky to get their hands first on a hemlok, longbow, triple take, g7scout or wingman.
  I didn't say anything about duos because I had many matches with one teammate quitting in the first minute, so those were basically duos. Although we were able to take the win sometimes, we felt the lack of the 3rd teammate. Even if it's a very bad player, the third member can make a difference, holding the enemies back a little longer, distract them, exposing their positions, covering the back, etc.. Reviving, respawning is significantly less risky when there's a third teammate defending the area (Bangalore, Gibraltar, Caustic, Watson) or preparing an escape route (Pathfinder, Wraith). More eyes, more guns, more angles, more combinations of legends, more strategies are favouring the 3 man squad against the duos. But anyway, if you look at the counter, in almost every game there are like 6 teams and 11 people left by the end of the first round, so duos kind of happens already.
  Communication is easy, you can do pretty well without a mic, thanks to the great ping system. I usually indicate what I want to do, or follow someone that suggests a good plan. If one doesn't want to stick to a plan, he's free to go solo, while the others can still stick together and have a good chance to win. Don't see how it would work better in duos and, if the teammate decides to go his own way and you're left solo, 1 vs 2 is worse than 2 vs 3.
  30 teams instead of 20 would almost certainly lead to more 3rd partying. In duo mode, reviving leaves the team defenseless, so it probably happen less often, especially in hot drops. After half the squads get eliminated, there are big chances of having many solo players because of this, which can lead to more camping and hiding.
  Regarding online friends, it's wrong to think duos would produce better teaming than trios, since it's not mandatory to befriend the whole team. You can invite just the player that you want to team up with, but you can also observe 2 players at once and invite them both, so you get more people to play with at once.
  Giving people what they want? People are never pleased, they always want the impossible yesterday. Not worth spending valuable time just to prove them wrong. The devs are not slaves of the gaming community and the latter are not bound to play Apex Legends only. Like the game for what it is, not for what you want it to become.

    Duos could be RRRRREALLLLY interesting. The dynamic changes completely when you have to play as an army of 2, as you've said. Imagine how fun it would be playing tag-team when everyone else had to play with the same chance and instead of 20 teams there were 30. Lots more conflict for the same amount of players, undoubtedly lots more 3ping and clusterf fights - but more of an obligation to play INCREDIBLY well. It would be less forgiving.
