It does look horrible though. The question isn't whether it's "worth it" for the Apex coins refund. Compared to the past season's BP, the quality of skins offered is sadly lackluster. I wonder how much mobile affects the main game's asset development.
@kittysune I changed my account region to Belgium so I get 2500 crafting metals instead of apex packs so that’s a guaranteed collection event skin. 😉
I think we've been spoiled for two seasons in which many of the filler weapon skins actually look pretty good! I actually run a couple of the S12-13 skins on, like the S12 CAR skin. Back to ugly wallpaper again! I don't really care, those skins are really just there for newer players who don't have anything. All I really care about are the lvl 1, 25, 50 and 100/110 skins. Those are mostly pretty nice IMO. All in all, though, I do think this BP is the most lackluster in a few seasons.
@hayhorExaggeration doesn't really help your argument. You keep repeating the same flawed premise. The thread isn't "Battle Pass not worth it." No one said it's not a good deal for the crafting materials and coins you get.
No, I don't want "100 items that are all epic or legendary." That's a strawman on your part.
I simply said that this battlepass is lackluster compared to previous BPs. Other BPs had skins with texture and additional details. This years are simple reskins and wallpaper for virtually all of the items, from the rare skins to the weapons.
Let's put it this way, the skins Amazon Prime Gaming members get over these three months will be far superior to ones in this BP, which is pretty telling as far as quality goes.
Edit: I'm assuming your $100 worth of stuff for free was a typo.
On the plus side, this way I don't care what level the BP gets to, so I can play super casual. 🙌
