Re: "we have run tests by putting skins on sale in the store" - where & when?!

Why are you people complaining ?

Did you even play D&D Neverwinter the whole game is p2w and that is a AAA development team. You want good armor you had to wait months before you got it if you didn't want to pay.

At least you dont have to buy all the cosmetics in apex legends just pay the damn BP for 10$ , then Freeload the BP and be happy with it.  People now a days feel entitled to every god damn thing. sorry but the universe doesn't revolve around you.

Go play pubg not only do you have to pay for the game you also have to pay for the cosmetics

go play fortnite another game that cosmetics are purchesed either through a BP or a 1 time deal [Another AAA Dev team]

If you don't want to invest in to the game then don't, its that simple. if you do then pay up, Those are the options. Corporation have to make money and no corporation is going to break even, it's all about making a profit. Once a product stops making said profit the item is discontinued or put on the  back burner for a later date if ever.

If people should be complaining about anything, It should be about the way it's a lottery to earn the cosmetics not the price. If respawn are giving away ie Free"crowns" then we should be able to pick what we want. Not open up a pack that gives us skins for something we don't want / care about.

We complain in hope, that it will be noticed somehow. Also we discuss his the quote, which seems to be not the trutz, once again.

Why do you even mention P2W games, this is not the topic and I do not care about such games. And I do not want to compare Apex with such games.

Sure, I would be willed to invest more, but I am clear minded and not a dumb lemming, who is paying them anything they want.

If you are that kind of person who accepts everything in the first place, good luck with that.

The only reason BR format games are not "p2win" is because there's not really any viable means to do it lol. But as stated that's completely besides the point. I haven't played neverwinter but i i have played countless mmorpg games over the years and the one thing they had in common is that there was still a secondary(if somewhat longwinded) means to get the p2win items that players could just purchase.

This event didn't offer us that...it basically said you can pay high prices for good content...or you can grind away for a load of crap rewards such as music packs and banners. This is why people are complaining lol.

Those games are no different then Apex Legends all free to play games.

All made By Triple A development teams. All have cosmetics / Equipment put behind a pay wall.

The nature of F2P games is to buy, sure you might get some things for free but the majority is bought and payed for with actual money.

Things might change if people start working together as a unit then "We" might see some changes.

Personaly I still stand behind  that people shouldn't be fighting over cost's of virtual cosmetic prices but more on the gambling aspect's. For instance "we" should be able to choose what "we" want to buy individually not have a loot crate dictate what we are given.

$20 bucks for cosmetic items isn't really that much IMO, Too each their own.

@Death_By_Ring  because not everyone plays PC format to which hacking seems entirely exclusive...we just get super laggy mofo's on console that move in unpredictable patterns.

You nailed it. We're not upset because of the prices. I spent a LOT of money in Fortnite when I played a while back, so the money isn't the issue. I could see what was in the store and buy what I wanted.

This event took that away from APEX.

"Here, we're going to give you a grindy event for 2 random items out of 24 items, most of which are crap. Oh, and you can't choose what you want."

    *One week later*

"Oh, now you can choose what you want, so if you're a whale that spent $170 on everything, you're out of luck. That one skin you wanted is now in the store for $20, so you wasted $150."

I think there could have been so many ways to still make the event exclusive without gambling people's money away. Yes, it's a choice to spend money on a free game, but you can't deny that EA/Respawn led the playerbase to a giant money-grabbing slot machine.
