@DrWizardo Hemlock slaps with a 3x if you hit your bursts. Taking away boosted loader is a bigger thing than people realize though. That extra burst meant a lot.

Honestly, it sucks. A bit of a skill issue, and a bit of the fact that all other AR's outclass it in various ways, especially up close.
- @hayhor I'll still run it when I find it, just looking at the numbers and it seems to be outshined by the other guns.
@pandareno1999 Yeah, with single fire being potentially A LOT stronger on the guns that are already strong due to full auto it feels weird.
@Cheese9Man I can't land those beams with the r-301, but in close-mid range it works pretty well. I just dislike the light guns dealing so little damage per shot (not counting G7 and perhaps the p2020)
@HappyHourSumwur Yeah, depending on what you find as a second/first gun the Hemlok can have diferent roles. That is why I like that it has a burst. Also why it is weird that the other guns are really strong now as single fire. I've been running it for my number one choice for three seasons (with a x2) and I am pretty lethal with it. I am not that good at strafing but with the Hemlock it gives me the happy medium between easy-to-strafe weapons like a shotgun and harder ones like the R301 or Flatline. If you can hit consistently it's amazing, and it's even accurate mid-to-long range.
If I get a x2 Hemlock on drop it's usually a 1,000+ damage game for me. In arena I choose it with a x2 every round except the first, when you don't have enough dosh for the x2 scope (I go for the Longbow with a x2, or a Volt depending on the map and legend).
My ideal combo is x2 Hemlock + x3 G7. I've only been able to use the G7 since it came out of the care package really. Prior to that I really sucked with it,
@EdwardDLuffyBeen playing a little bit now on the new season, but haven't had the chance to get my hands on an anvil receiver yet. I guess only time will tell, but it makes migh causiously optimistic that the Hemlok still seems to hold value.
I would love a 1+3 times scope for the Hemlok, or some special thing like in real life when you tilt the gun to use different optics / iron sights.
2 times scopes are usually pretty good as well.
@dSKyNafinchinG7 was my favourite gun when I started playing, and it is making a comeback. I don't like the iron sights tho'!
@DarthValtrexI do try other guns, both as #1 and #2 depending on what I pick up at the start. But I usually still go for "easy aim" ones like Hemlok, Longbow, Alternator or maybe shotties, or Flatline.
@KelRiever The Havoc can melt people, but without the turbo, that intial waiting is a BIG obstacle. I can't use it for ranged combat at all.
