@Mary-Reilly-Film  That's because that's exactly what's happening lol, they are essentially shooting at an older frame, it's the same reason you get shot through closed doors or when lifting a knockdown shield just before a shot hits you.

Annoying stuff but with limitations of internet infrastructure we're basically stuck with it.

But for some player have it easier the delay for them is less so they get high kills and more damage

U can see some youtubers with 5k damage in match they get sufficient time and their older images r less delayed

@Mary-Reilly-FilmWell, the quality of your internet does matter but saying 'people get 5k dmg cuz they have a better internet' is just ridiculous. I play on Singapore servers with 85-90 ms ping. I have around 11k games and when I die I admit that I made a mistake or my skill isn't that great, not 'The opponent has a better internet'. Wait, that rhymes xD

Iam playing on 80 ping and 2% to 20% packet loss 

Actually I got from pretty long time

So i used my reliance jio 4G LTE internet to bahrain got 103ms to 220ms and for the first time the game felt different and i could doge enemy bullets as per graphic shown so i got high damage and kills.

But why cant i dodge bullet on at 80ms ping wired ADSL connection that is stable?

What could be the reason ?

Apex Legends servers are just bad. In CS:GO for example i have never ever experience any kind of problems, whether server issue, lags, delays or the so call kill behind cover/doors, and so on, and we all know they exist in Apex Legends and lower the skill ceiling by a lot.

You can`t even peak properly without taking damage, even tho you take the damage when you are already behind the cover .....

EA/Respawn needs to invest into better servers.

I'd hate to be killed after dogging.

Imagine the newspaper reports.

@1ronKeysBut some people can doge bullets as i mentioned my mobile 4G LTE could not fair game for ADSL line users.
In my test i could not doge bullet on stable wired internet

In my area Reliance is 4G doest wrk all the time and cant play good maybe late night

Nope... it is bad netcode and poor lag compensation.

And tbh... just laziness!

I remember when R6 Siege was having hit reg complaints or lag stuff... they chucked on the plaster of "lag compensation"... this majorly disadvantaged players with decent connections; i strafed behind a wall, 2 seconds later i see shots go throgh the doorway to the side ofme and i die from them.

People complained and they realised this plaster/bandaid "lag compensation" is poor... so they spent like 2 seasons worth on "Operation Health" where they postponed all new content to work solely on getting the quality of the netcode to where it was decent.

Yeah it sucks that someone may be slightly disadvantaged havinf a worse connection, but least it's somewhat justified. Not like being disadvantaged because you have  a good connection AND made the right moves.
