Re: why do you keep mixing ranks?

I'm currently Gold II myself but I play with two Plat III's. We all are at a similar skill level but they have had more time to play so when we play everyone is a whole tier above me.

According to stats we win every 8th game we play, every 3rd is a top 5. With kills and dmg to prove our worth.

So you guys matching with people from lower ranks might match with others like me.

And you that match with similar but bad players might just match with people that got carried higher than their skill.

Why even have a rank system if they're going to mix low ranks with high ranks.

the question is, will we ever get an answer, do the devs read the forum?

To me its about more than skill level. When you are diamond and lose a game you lose a lot more points than someone who is only gold or silver. So they can play with less consequence than someone who is in diamond. They can just blindly rush in get two kills be in 10th place and still get pluspoints. Why not put us together with squads who have just as much to lose. Im almost diamond 3 but i keep getting matched up with golds and plats who do not perform at all and do the silliest things and get mad when i dont play along. So i end up soloing getting 3 kills ending up 3th or 4th sometimes clutchings it but its hard having to play alone because some dude stuck on gold 4 or plat 4 hotdrops because he doesnt care. 🤨 if you play without a premade squad this game is alot like comedy capers 80% of the time. And at times as toxic as Fifa 🙄. ... 

To make the game more toxic 😂 if you have skillbased matchmaking like this how can ranking be fair 🤷🏽‍♂️ People who play bad can still rank up because they play with and against people who are just as bad or just as good as they are. I never get two good teammates in a row they get worse after i win. 

It's not any better in gold 4 than plat 4.  7 games out of 10 I get my jumpmaster jumping me into the laser of death or dropping us onto 6 other teams late and I get to throw a punch while 5 people shoot me with guns.  2 games out of 10 I get someone on my team who thinks they're a top 5 player and runs off solo into the open and then screams "aimbotters!! my team sucks! don't play ranked you're garbage" on the mic until the game ends.  1 game out of 10 I get a team who actually plays seriously.

@Gabrielmojo26  Nahhh I think they understand the struggle they just basically give up trying lol, plus with the ease of getting out of gold it definitely is a culture shock for some people when they reach plat and realize they can't play the same way they did before.

It is a bad mentality to have though, if you're not willing to put the effort in for your team in ranked you should just play pubs.

I personally found plat deeply annoying for this reason, I would earn a good amount of rp per game, work my way up a couple of ranks and then the floodgates would open and I'd get all the dudes that play like their silver rank and end up back at square one.

I do wonder if dropping out of a rank rather than just dropping tiers would be the solution. Even if it was set so that you can only drop back to your previous tier.
