Re: Wrongful Ban?

Did you submit a ban appeal or just contact customer support? I'm going to use a macro that I have for ban threads (it contains a link to the appeals process). The appeals are a bit back logged at the moment, so response times are fairly slow at the moment. Have you tried logging into and checking the status of your appeal? They should issue a decision on the appeal, if the appeal is denied you can then submit a second appeal. If it's been more than about 5-6 weeks since you filed the appeal and you have not heard back let me know. There have been a few instances in which players missed communication from the EA TOS teams.

Hey welcome to AHQ! Unfortunately AHQ (the forum) won't be able to do much for you on the ban. You will need to contact the EA TOS department, they are the only teams who can review bans and reverse them.

Please only submit 1 ticket, and wait for a response. I have heard they are receiving an unusually high number of appeals, so it might take a few weeks to get a response. They will respond it just takes time for them to review everything and respond.

If your initial appeal is denied, then you can submit a second appeal.

Keep an eye on your emails spam and junk folder, just to make sure you do not miss any communication from the EA TOS department.

    Thank You for this, Yes I have summited a reply It said: "In progress". Hopefully, they can get this wrongful ban thing I've been seeing a lot recently fixed a dropped some money in this game, and feel kinda robbed.

    @magikswand You're welcome, just keep on eye it for an update. They will review it and they will respond.

    I can't tell you if you'll get account back. But I have seen quite a few people get their accounts unbanned.

    Did anyone get anything back on this one?

    I got wrongfully banned.. Without an email I had submitted an appeal.  Then got an email about it 18 hours ago.

    So I waited to see if it would clear up and be reviewed.. Today got an email saying yep you were banned for cheating... I just created a new case on it, but trying to see if anyone had any luck getting unbanned, actually talking to a someone who was able to fix it, etc.  This sucks.. I don't know what they think I did, I don't know when they think I cheated.  I can't get info on it, and how can you appeal something if you have no info to talk about it?

    So still banned.  Second appeal denied.  Sigh... I really want to learn what they think I did.  I personally did nothing to cheat.  Nothing in my account shows any characters stats off.  So it wasn't a hack.  Just a ban, that they state was was done appropriately... I will keep appealing since I didn't do anything, but this really sucks, and is annoying.  I don't feel comfortable playing on a new/2nd account since I feel like they'll just ban that one for no reason (or take out my son's account usage on the PS4).  Any help would be appreciated!

  • They are a horrible company that does not care about its customers they banned me in mut and refused to tell me why and they refuse to unban me I refuse to ever buy a product from them again and I strongly recommend many others do the same nothing changes until they start to lose customers
