Re: Wrongly banned

@Cracatak

Welcome to the forum.

Are you using shared device to play Apex etc?

If yes that is not a good thing because if a different user of the same device commits a permanent bannable offense that also incorporates a hardware ban, when the other users of the same hardware login they will also get banned.

This is why sharing computers/devices or using internet café/hotel devices is not good.

If you think your account has been compromised you should do the following below:

You will need to log in to origin/EA and secure your account and I would suggest enabling 2FA id for better protection. once you have your account secured you should also go and secure the associated e-mail account.

Once you have those two things done, you try the next step.

Contact an EA advisor for live support chat via EA help and see if they can assist you further, in reference to the hacked and banned account.

If you are using steam, PS or xbox you should also secure those accounts before contacting an EA advisor.

    @Asmodeus566 if what you say about EA/Origin banning devices is true, that is ludicrous. They should only be banning accounts. Consider this....

    What if a family with 2 siblings is only able to afford 1 device for them to share. Then one day sibling 1 does something to invoke a ban on his account. So through no fault of their own sibling 2 is banned as well, because the device that they share has been banned.

    How does that make sense?

    We all know what is right or wrong, if not it is something that should be taught or learned.
    it is what it is.
