@dSKyNafinchinSame here, peak apex was seasons 5-9 to me. Played a lot of arenas too in season 9. Now I don't even want to touch that mode.
Not sure if I'm reaching my end with apex but I've been playing less and less each season. I'm not mad at the game nor Respawn but more of I don't really care about the game or not as much as before. I'm now at the point of I like talking about the game more than actually playing it. Hope the new map brings that excitement back. BR fatigue is definitely kicking but gun run gave me hope.
Season 2 Battle Charge, disruptor on the alt. thing was crazy scary, I would literally run away at the sound of those rounds lolol, same could be said about the longbow skull piercer!
Season 3 Meltdown, anvil, so damn scary!
Oh and who can forget single fire havoc, such a fun gun, and that sound, yet they took it away, no clue why!
- @Gabrielmojo26 Season 3 charge rifle was one of the most busted guns in the game. LOL.
Select fire havoc and anvil flatline and R301 were removed to separate the assault rifle class more with the once newly made gun class, the marksman. Well that's the reason they gave AFAIK.- @Cheese9Man Single fire havoc was so fun. And the noise it made!
- @Gabrielmojo26 Disruptor is probably my favorite thing that is no longer in the game!! Like you said, it sounded CRAZY!!! Absolutely loved that thing. Didn't matter if I had an Alt or an RE. Personally, I still wish they would have just reduced the multiplier against shields, instead of removing it altogether.
I'm glad the Skullpiercer came back!
@Cheese9Man I didn't know that at the time, but it makes complete sense. I loved the Anvil on both Flatty/301, but I honestly haven't missed it a whole lot, since I tend to use a marksman rifle if I want to reach out and touch somebody. I tend to keep my fights mid range and under though, because I'm terrible at sniping on here. I can get kills with a Scout all day, but slap a Longbow or any sniper in my hands, and I'm only cracking shields. I sucked with the single-fire Havoc, too- @dSKyNafinchin I used to be trash with snipers as well, then I took a different angle on it. I now use the sentinel close range, it just slaps them in the face with 70 dmg and it’s hilarious!
- @BigMacAttack8u I actually used the Sentinel in Arenas last night, just working on a sniper knocks challenge. I still suck, Lmao!! I was cracking shields left and right, but only got a couple knocks, through multiple matches. Usually once I crack them, they dip behind cover to heal up. I can't ever seem to actually get knocks with it
