Remove gold knockdown shields in ranked? People are crying for rank changes

Gold knockdowns are kinda useless anyway. How many times are you allowed to spend an eternity pulling it off? Either it should be easier to revive yourself, if they are serious about having it as a feature, or they might as well scrap it.

Ranked is dumb. Have no idea of what to change or whatever. All I know is that I have no inclination to play ranked the way it currently works. So changes of any sort would be welcomed.
