Respawn stopping Cheaters/Hackers

Hardware bans can still be spoofed its called (Hardware Spoofing)

It's not true, it's just a rumor. There is no official statement from the devs that they do hardware ban

Yes I agree with jaayel, I would like a dev to confirm that they really are doing hardware bans?

They are indeed doing hardware ban because i asked a cheater was in my same squad and he said that everytime he create new account by changing the HWID, they still got banned after few matches automatically. But the thing is, he managed can play for FEW MATCHES by cheating! and i remember he was lvl 20+! So yes, the HWID is useless based what you heard. Somehow the cheaters always come back with new ID and trolling us around ingame that the apex legends officially belongs to them. If you dont believe me, you can ask every cheater ingame with politely.

Exactly. Do not trust people who tell you that you can get away with cheating. You risk losing access to Apex. The person who told you to cheat won't care. 💔

EAC in fact does do hardware bans which is not related to respawn decision its an automatic response done by EAC servers if you are flagged more than once for hacking. Respawn does hold some power in banning people but EAC does most of the work. 

I have already browsed through many of the public forums that post these cheats and seen many topics on being hwid banned by EAC and unfortunately how to bypass it.  

Unfortunately they would need to use grade school tactics to stop cheaters. cheating is a big business. how do you put a business out of business. cut its supply. if apex just said screw it and shut the servers off it would kill the cheaters but it would also take it away from everyone not cheating as well. which would make the real non cheating players even more furious at the cheaters and the businesses that make the cheats. unfortunately this is not a permanent fix but it would definitely mess with the ones who make cheating so available.

the next idea open up paid servers that are closely regulated maybe even actively regulated. i rather play in a server with the same 1k players and no i died to skill, then play against hundreds of thousands of cheaters. I would even gladly pay for the guarantee of anyone who even tries to cheat is kicked from the server and can never be white-listed again. anti cheat is really worthless it only catches bad cheaters not the good ones. the more i learn about how hard it is to stop cheating the more i consider quitting online competitive shooters all together.
