running apex legends on i3 6098p processor

Hi,

I am sure there are many questions already answered about the system requirements to run apex legends but I just want to confirm for my own setup.

I checked Apex Legends PC requirement and in recommended requirement for CPU is Intel i5 3570K or equivalent

I have i3-6098P - https://ark.intel.com/content/www/us/en/ark/compare.html?productIds=93366,65520

My processor is of higher generation but few features are missing from i5 3570. Will that be fine? Will I be able to run Apex Legends on my PC with my i3-6098p? I am planning to put a dedicated graphics GPU 1060.

Thanks in advanced.

  • your gonna have to limit the fps because apex legends sets the fps to 144 by default which will max out your cpu power instantly. play on 720p resolution, low video settings.

Depends, on what is fine for you.

For some players, 60 fps is fine, as they do not have a 144Hz monitor.

My CPU ist also old (Xeon 1231)but still slightly better than yours, I also use a 1060.

I get around 70-90 fps on 1080p. You should expect less, I guess.
