S14 review and S15 hype level

Vantage = meh.
King's Canyon changes = disaster.
Shorter ring timer = pointless. I adapted to it, but a good part of that adaptation involved a heightened willingness to quit a circle that couldn't be reached without giving three free kills to some gatekeeping uber-squad. Unintended consequences, Respawn. Unintended consequences.
Laser Sights = disaster. Not because they don't work, or work too well, but because they thin the already too thin loot pool. Trying to find a decent scope this season, for any gun, was frustrating. And that's coming from somebody who lives to loot and spends 90% of every match just looking for stuff. That guy should be able to find what he's looking for.
S14 matchmaking = no significant changes that I could notice, although others seemed to imply that it got even worse than it already was. I'll let others weigh in on that one.
S15:
New Legend = meh, because new legends always = meh.
New map = Oh, yeah. WAY yeah. I'll be sorry to see SP exit the rotation, but I feel like I'm ready to get Olympus back, although I tire of it quicker than any of the others.
Battle Pass, skins, ranks, ltms... these are things for which I care not one single whit. They can do whatever they want. But I'm vicariously happy if they do something good that pleases everyone else. I'm generous like that.
