Hi I've been playing since launch and this season by far the worst in terms of sbmm I get potato teammates rather than my rank if it does go by skill level and determines your stats in the way that it does I should not be vsing people at lvl 100 - 200 people who are lvl 500s with 26000 kills and 500 wins with a 20 bomb and 4 k badges please tell me how that is sbmm. I only have 67 wins and lvl 191 like not to mention the amount of strikepacks users please find a way to ban these types of players Activision found a way to ban them like it's ruining sbmm and the whole matchmaking system I get beamed for everything cause some guy is using a strike pack with mods strikepacks have built in mods like rapid fire, recoil control which basically is aimbot it removes your recoil and basically you shoot and bullets go straight this makes the game very unplayable I use to enjoy this game a lot but now it's ruined cause they don't ban anyone or do anything to make the game better like rather than adding stuff to the game spend time and fix issues and matchmaking and either get rid of sbmm or spend a good amount of time to fix it like it's not fair for newcomers vsing lvl 500s like how can you say the sbmm system is fine it makes the game unplayable and also fix the servers I'm Laggy on Ethernet and fast internet there should be no need for lag update your servers or add more or something also nerf or get rid of the rampage you don't need skill in shooting that gun I rather have regular updates rather than whenever you guy decide to add stuff like what makes a good game is continuesly updateing servers and things that make the game what it is needs more updates for tech side of Apex this game is slowly going down hill plz do something it's rediculous

@Moist_Demon to be honest , the system is not fair but whenever I think about I don't find away how they can fix it.yesterday I was running with premade team and encountered a lifeline who was clearly new to the game.poor girl got melted in a second and she was lvl 25 or something.I really felt so bad watching her knocked, just facing the wall not moving trying to process what just happened and I was thinking why she was matched in this lobby then we found out that one of her teammates is lvl 500 so the system matched the whole team according to the highest lvl player.so it was not fair for her , or her teammates and it was not fun for us and the same applies when we get matched against predator 3 stack who melt us in a second.I don't know what to say but I agree that it's not a fun experience on both sides .....or maybe I am just too soft XD

If only I can give more than 1 XP here. Yes it's a free kill but it doesn't feel right for these real new players (not smurfs) to be matchmaked against us let alone players that are better than us. I don't know if it's a low player count in a particular server that's forcing them to join these lobbies. The game feels like magic when you're matched with people with the same skill. I don't know why but I'm less salty dying to a person who outplayed me who I know is at my same skill level rather than to those preds that I have no chance of winning in a 1v1.

Yeah, good they prioritize speed though, makes it easier to leave game after game, until you either:1. Don't get a 3-stacking pred champ team.2. Don't get a cheating 3-stacking Xbox champ team.3. Don't get suspiciously low lvl teammates to fight 1. and 2. champ teams with.4. You don't get sabotaging hot-dropping teammates.After leaving enough games, you ought to get a proper one in the end.

@Redmattgame The point of pubs should be to provide quick matchmaking with minimum matchmaking criteria. If you are looking for fair matchmaking in pubs, I am afraid your hope is misplaced. Sure it's frustrating but that's the nature of mode.Now that's out of the way, let's talk about ranked. Players are already divided by their rank tiers for fair matchmaking, so to further 50/50(assumed number) that population in a mode that requires 60 players(talking Platinum+) is a disaster for queue times. Or hell if it's 70/30 or something, then it's even worse.They could test it in pubs, but it should remain as is imo. Big no for ranked, it would be a disaster just like Arena ranked experience.I called it a 'worst idea', I will change that to a bad idea. Don't take it personally, I was being blunt.

Funny cause I posted about a strike pack user just a few days ago on reddit, and within the 8K+ upvotes, 50% didn’t know what a SP was, and the other 50% were actually using them, which was somewhat alarming imo.As for SBMM, it’s gotten worst for me, seems the more I play, the more I get matched with mediocre sub level 100 players on a regular basis. The game is not very friendly to solo queue players, and I’ve come to accept that. Hard stuck P4 at the moment, for every decent game with up to par teammates, I get a handful of complete trash, rendering that gained RP completely useless. I’m still praising tier demotion, and until they implement such a feature, low bottom tiers will always be saturated with players that shouldn’t be there, making it a very painful process for solo queue players reflecting appropriate rank. I’m now thinking SBMM is a combined average of wtv stats they need to come to said conclusion, and pre-stacks are just thrown in because they need to be playing regardless.Let me put it this way, if Respawn was to allocate RP to the last standing player within said team, with decent dmg, I'd probably be a pred by now lolThe amount of times both teammates have either 0 dmg, or barely 100, both dead, spam pinging banners, and I'm somewhere around 800 trying to go on suicide missions, is more than I'd like to admit.

@Moist_Demon I'm a level 500 with a few thousand kills and millions of damage. It does not imply skill, sure to some extent yes. But I only have a 3k badge, no 20 bomb, no triple-triple.

I simply play a ton and rack up a ton of kills, but also a ton of deaths.

THIS! If only I can give more than 1 XP here. @maximas1986 I think SBMM is going to be difficult in this game. I've only seen a few games where SBMM worked flawlessly. The nature of BR's is going to include a ton of death. There are so many things that play into winning or losing a fight, especially in this game. Your team, your location, the guns you have and so on.

I've said it before and I'll say it again,
it's cause most if not the great majority of good players, they play in duos or squads,
and it's pretty understandable given how massive advantage is to have 3 really good people in one squad..
