So I just watched the trailer. I liked the caustic skydive emote... and the Valkyrie finishers (saw a new one) and other than that... nothing. Absolutely nothing...

Respawn have basically admitted they're pretty obsessed with Japanese aesthetics. Titanfall was riddled with them, you see some elements in olympus...we've already got weapon skins and legend skins with said theme.

This was inevitable. XD

I'm not so sure, to be honest. I will say I don't really agree with the reclassification of the TT (I mean if we start pulling at the "what is and isn't a sniper" thread, then the charge rifle might be next, because it's a bit odd as well). But, I feel the others do make sense to be put there they are. Just shoving them all under AR would just be a bit weird, in my opinion.

Also, there is some point in this reclassification. It's not like they're just slapping a different name on it and calling it a day. They did say in the Dev stream that Marksman will have a bit of a different strafe speed and spread pattern vs Sniper and AR. They weren't really clear on the spread, but they did say the strafe speed would be in between an AR and a sniper.

So, there is an overall point to this. And really,  I feel it was inevitable, since they want to keep adding weapons (which I'm all for, by the way). To be honest, I always wondered where this bow would fall, when it first was leaked/rumored, a couple seasons ago. I mean, I guess you could have just thrown it in AR, but I don't think it would really fit. And Sniper has their own ammo, so that wouldn't really work. Thus, the Marksman class was born. And, outside of the TT, they are putting things I feel belong in a separate class. And it makes sense to have other things in there, instead of having the bow be all by itself (That would just be a waste of an introduction of a new class, in my opinion)
