Don’t understand it.Why I always get teabagged when someone kill me ? Are people so happy in their life when they see the deathbox with all badges or they know they killed the champion with good stats ?its really so annoying..I know it’s a „I’m better“ move in the „shooter-scene“. But in apex it’s kinda toxic because it’s close never a fair fight.it’s frustrating when you get teabagged while reviving your mate and got killed from triple take when you are one shot lol.. or after a fair final loss when they shoot your deathbox like hell holyi made me anonymous now but it didn’t help. I think I have to change my mind and stand over it but it makes me so angry.

@LexSteel91 tbh you need to loosen up, just laugh at it, there's a lot of things that you should be mad about at this game but getting 'teabagged' is not one of those.I know it's not good behaviour, but even in the real world, people are crazy. @LexSteel91 tbh you need to loosen up, just laugh at it, there's a lot of things that you should be mad about at this game but getting 'teabagged' is not one of those.

I know it's not good behaviour, but even in the real world, people are crazy. So no need to take it personally, paying this much attention to that is not good for your mental health, it's a game after all.

If anything, you should be proud that they're feeling such an accomplishment beating you. Take it as a compliment :D

T-bagging is a display of male pride after besting another male. It has nothing, and I mean absolutely NOTHING to do with being better than another.

T-bagging occurred first in 309BC when the Romans were in charge and held gladiator fights. One time a gladiator struck another in the knee while he was aiming for the gut, and the stabbee was aiming for the head with his mace but hit the dude in the torso. The stabbee knelled in pain as the other guy fell. Fight wasn’t over but the stabbee could only move ever so slightly and severely limpy. While moving closer, he delivered the dead blow and received a standing ovation. He tried to stand up but every time he got 3/4th up he got back in the squat position almost and on one knee cause he couldn’t properly stand and tried to stand up quickly as to not let the Emperor see that he was in pain with risk of getting executed of course. People saw this as being a triumphant display and so T-bagging was formed.

It only got the name due to golden ages where tea was for the rich and affluent. Every time as a duel of pistols or swordfight was ended, they displayed the same movement as gladiators did. But now seeing as it looked like a dipping of a tea bag in a hot cup of tea, they called it teabagging or t-bagging for short.

Now seeing this tale, you can see that even in the old days it didn’t have much to do with being better, just triumphant over an enemy, and it happened by a fluke.

Every lowlife can teabag. You can do it to someone you haven’t even killed, even tho that’s bad etiquette as mentioned here: https://youtu.be/YQEzGSnzi5I. You can even teabag your teammate(s). Point is, it has nothing to do with being better than the person you downed but just that a person has bested you in that particular point in time.

If you get teabagged alot you are likely a good player and players take pride in killing you. That’s usually the case when it happens a lot. Like you constantly killing 1 guy or the whole team in CoD and they finally get you, you will get teabagged.

If someone kills you in Apex and sees bloody good badges, you will get teabagged. People also do it if their adversary is extremely noobish just to * them off.

@LexSteel91honestly .... if I see your death box with all the badges I will teabag it.
and if you were my kill......hell I will teabag you while you are knocked then throw my holospray then finish you up then teabag your box and if you are still spectating i will empty a clip or two on your box then teabag you again.
and if you are a predator, damn I will take your box home with me to teabag it from time to time

@LexSteel91 I don't mind if someone is teabagging my death-box like how does basically spam-crouching is going to make me mad. I rarely teabag enemies but even when I do it, it's just for some laughs lol.

If someone does finisher spam on me, I still don't back out to lobby, upto a certain point of course.

Interesting.. many different opinions here.
i also can see teabagging when streamers are playing in pred lobbies. Some of them teabagging other popular streamers and in the same moment their teammates said they should stop it. So it seems to be disrespectful in the „higher“ Elo
