Server Ping vs In-game Ping

Server select ping gives me ranges from 39-42ms for the lowest ping server which is the same server location I use for Valorant and other games. In all the other games for Oregon server I actually get that ping in-game with tiny 1-5ms spikes in fights, meanwhile on Apex my ping can range anywhere from 70ms(rarely)-140ms. As well as I have never experienced D-sync like in this game, it's insane! How? why? Will this ever be fixed because it's been like this for the 8months I have been playing.
