Can anyone help me understand why Apex's server quality has diminished significantly in the last two weeks. I can't play a game mode without having any server lag, regardless of what server I choose. I also know it's not a ping issue, I'm constantly verifying my ping to ensure it's not the issue and it always seems to be below 30MS.
I've been listening to people question the quality of servers in this game for quite a while now. I was always willing to give the dev the benefit of the doubt. Then today I had a match where I got close to the enemy and we both opened up at the exact same time. I went down in a heap... without having a single bullet from my empty clip do one single point of damage. Not one. I'm sure I missed some shots on my tap-strafing opponent, but the only individual in the equation that thinks I missed every single one of them is the server running the game. Shady as f***. I was frustrated enough that for a couple of minutes after the match I actually considered re-downloading Fortnite. Then I realized that I'd rather give up gaming and take up knitting than have to play Fortnite. But seriously, what do you do when you lose confidence in the integrity of a game? How long are we expected to just keep trying and hope we get a match where server failure works for us instead of against us? I wish I knew....
I chose one server and in each match I had a different ping, sometimes 30, sometimes even 60. It's not the internet's fault, because these are not ping spikes. It's a constant ping, but always different in a different match. Strange.
yeah my tactics are so sluggish. I'm thinking it may be due to the server quality after all this time. You can definitely feel it in Watton glitches & I believe I played Bangalore a few times, her smoke would not shoot when I clearly had some, just stutters.
