We like to * and moan when we don't like something, in this case (usually) Apex related. And FIFA. Apparantly.I'm guilty of this too. If people are happy they usually don't say too much because, well, why would they?I love this game. The match making drives me nuts, some fo the stuff I see in game that seems impossible drives me nuts yet I keep coming back (as does everyone else here who is a serial-moaner). Overall I think the good outweighs the bad.Maybe a new thread in this discussion. Things you *love* about Apex. I'll start:The dynamic nature of the game, every game is uniqueLearning from playing. I got suckered big time last night against final squad. They played me for a total tool and I fell for it. Lesson learned and a bit in awe.People. This may come as a surprise. It's far easier to complain about the toxic * you encounter in this game (or any online game) as there are plenty of people out there who seem to have the only goal of making it suck as much as they can for you. I have, however, played with some amazing people who are patient with me and amazing team mates and for that I am grateful (such as @maximas1986 as he is *well* above my ability/pay grade). It's exciting to check to see which of your friends are online to hook up with. One day I'll be cool enough to play with @hayhor or @Cheese9Man.Variety. We have 3 maps and more and more legends/POI/weapons/etc. Now and then the game forces me to run with an unusual loadout and it's most satisfying to get the squad wipe with a 3030 as that's all you've got. Note. Not recommended, lol.Anyone else want to add to the love?

Just wanna get it out there before someone calls us Respawn simps. LMAO!1. Being a physician during a pandemic sucks man. Apex and gaming in general is a great escape after 36 hour shifts especially at the start of the pandemic. As more people got vaccinated, there are less patients now and more time for sleep and apex.2. Apex was a way for my friends and I to catch up since we can't go out and I was afraid that I might have the virus and spread it to my friends last year. Apex with the playstation party chat was the perfect solution for that. 3. I'm gonna copy your number 1 and say that I absolutely agree on how random this game is. I hate repetitive games and this might be one of the reasons why I hate arenas. The dynamic nature of the game is one reason why I keep coming back and now with a new map coming, there will be more unique experiences that we'll have. 4. Getting better over time at the game. My KDR jumped from the usual 1.4 to currently 1.9 this season. It's rewarding.5. Lastly, this forum and every member and mod here. I love you guys and thanks for sharing your thoughts and ideas regarding the game (and even the off topic stuff). Yes including the controller player haters out there jk. This forum is just more mature on how the discussions go unlike in reddit.I'm pretty sure I can think of other stuff but that will be all for now. Let's all be hopeful for the future of apex but still callout Respawn in their shortcomings from time to time. Love and Respect.

I love the fact that I was dreadful when I started playing (I could go a whole day without a kill) and now I can carry teams when I'm in the zone (yesterday I set my record number of kills for one playing session at 69). I've never improved so much at a video game.There's also the synergy when you play with someone who is pretty decent. I had a game yesterday with a LL after Wraith had abandoned us after getting knocked at the Gauntlet. We won four 2v3s and finished third.Getting the winning kill.When some new content makes you giggle. Crypto yday: "In my previous life I worked with ones and zeroes. Guess which one you are."Solo squadwipes.When a newb sticks to you like glue. Hopefully they learn something.When TMs see my banner and think I'm a pred then I go and play like a pred. Doesn't happen that often though 😉

@RockDokRock Also the kills wins damage trackers that you earn from events, they are really neat if not got them on a legend I leave the slots blank.

@RockDokRock The battlepass, I love joining a season late buying the pass and rattling through all the challenges till bored, the actual playing is pretty stale but unlocking stuff and doing challenges is fun for me, always has been since the early call of duty games where you earned all your things by playing it's just a bit different nowadays but I'm on board with the modern way.

Was actually pretty bummed that when bought Overwatch it has no pass to buy and unlocking things naturally is pretty slow.

this applies to everything, it's human nature.
I see it every day at my work, I work in the frontline of the customer service field and I've been doing it for the past 14 years.
there is no way to completely satisfy a customer/consumer no matter what you do to them even if they are provided with ( special service ) there will be something to complain about XD.
that's why I stopped ranting about the game even when it's my full time ( second shift) as I can describe it and I am saying this because it's the only thing filling my time after I get back from work until I am ready to sleep.

@CAGOA34 Yes, that's a good one. The BP objectives encourage you to try new weapons/legends/etc. Sometimes it's a bit of a downside as I don't care for Arenas and generally avoided those. I thought it would affect the overall BP progression but I hit level 110 ages ago so it hasn't so it's all good! Well done for that!

Apex is a game at times drives me nuts with it's continuous issues like servers,match-making,cheating etc that many of us have been crying out for months to be fixed but it largely seems to fall on deaf ears.But without doubt Apex has always been the best online shooter & probably the best multiplayer game as well which is why many of us are so passionate about the game when things aren't going so well & yes we can all be critical but we all want the best for Apex in our own way at the end of the day.

If I was to encapsulate my 2 favourite things about Apex it would be;

1)The Characters - From their individual stories,backgrounds & their rivalries & their hatred for other characters in the game to their in game banter (which always brings a smile to my face) & is probably why Revenant is my favourite character as everyone just about hates him (plus he has the best quotes) .And with every characters indivdiual Tactical & Ultimate will always have me approaching games differently depending on which character I am.

2;Teamwork- Apparently 'teamwork makes the dream work' or so they say but it certainly doesn't apply to teammates who want to land in hotspots where over half the lobby is landing where any fool & his horse can tell you this game is ending very quickly.Or teammates who land in the opposite corner of the map,get dropped & expect you to bail them out somehow.And aside from other irritant things like dropped teammates who constantly spam the ping button when they have died (I don't need to here 50 continuous pings to know I have pick up you're banner).But no matter how good or bad my teammates are I'll always aim to live as a team & die as a team & as long as they have my back I'll always have theirs come hell or high water.

@RockDokRock being from an age where it took me 3 weeks on my dragon 32 to complete and debug a magazine program that created a 3Dish looking pyramid, I love the minute detail in all the maps and have often been downed while admiring it up close.
In fact the entire maps content and the fact that play is almost instantaneous is mind-boggling to me.

@RockDokRock Happiness is up to the individual. Some people seem to be happy being miserable.

With Apex the good far outweighs the bad. The lore, the ease of play, the variety in characters, maps, weapons and matches all are awesome. This is why I have no issue spending on it.

Are there things to work on? Sure. But this game gives me thousands of hours a year of fun.
