Skill based match making

Dear Respawn. I have been loyal to you ever since you released apex and I refuse to get off apex to play warzone even though all my friends play it. I just need to tell you that skill based match making is ruining your game. I consider myself an above average gamer and when I am in ranked I am super good. But in pubs I feel like I am a bot. Like I have no gaming knowledge whatsoever. Please take out sbmm. Why have sbmm if you already have a ranked mode? Because right now it is as if you have two ranked modes and the one that is supposed to be easier is much much harder.

I completely agree. I have been a loyal player since day 1, and SBMM has ruined the fun for me. Ranked is already in place, so why make pubs just as challenging? Apex is no longer a relaxing game, and without a change I will be on to other games.

Yeah, there’s a ton of players of varying level up to 500 that don’t improve at all at the game so they get to be in easy lobbies whereas if you’re not a bumbling noob you get put vs predator every single game in ranked and pubs

@adanial100I posted a fairly logical essay today on SBMM and how it relates to “Equality vs Equity” but the whole thing was taken down. Whoever runs this forum does not want you talking intelligently about SBMM.

@Axs5626Sxa5001 Yea cuz u wrote a whole college paper in MLA format, I tried to read it but it was way too long. Didn’t hold my attention no offense, try reposting it shorter and to the point

@Axs5626Sxa5001 I thought it was a good post that could have encouraged some sensible discussion on the topic. You should ask one of the EAs as to why it was removed and have it restored because it didn't break any forum rules from what I saw.

@apostolateofDOOM Thanks. Yes it was lengthy but the topic is complex.

It was probably removed for one of two reasons:

— It edges on the political discussion of Equality vs Equity, and they don’t want that sort of thing here. Hell, I don’t even want to get political.

—I blatantly called out EA for implementing a system that reaps them revenue at the expense of medium to high skilled players.

Either way, it is what it is.

@Axs5626Sxa5001 You should of just copied and saved it to a notepad. Then keep reposting every time if it was removed. Then after having your account banned continue making new accounts posting the same thing. Funny thing though. They'll ban a person for something petty as that. But not the actual people breaking their coding and gameplay. Oh what a world.
