Smurfs are a big problem.

So i started playing again after a few months and i like the new ranked system.

But i started on silver, And every champion squad and i get * every game by people that have 4K dmg badges and 20 kill badges.

I'm sure they are not cheating they are obviously smurfing.

I think a solution to this problem would be that remove the cap on kills that give points.

If a person gets 20 kills and 10 assist in a match he's obviously way to good for that bracked and just give him his 876218741684718746 points and move him the **** out of that bracket.

I never understood why there is a cap on 5 max kils / assist.

If a person earns a 20 / or 4K damage kill give him a 1000 points extra. Remove him from the point where he is ruining games for people that are supposed to play there.

I don't understand the fun in smurfing and i never wil.

But there is a lot that can be done about it.

@DaAceXD It isn't necessarily smurfing. Everyone starts in bronze at first regardless of how good they are. It is entirely possible that these people just started playing ranked recently and are just still moving up the ranks.

i forgot to mention they are around level 14.
not talking about lvl 100 accounts starting the season now.
thats obviously not a smurf.
since they definition of smurfing is to create a new account to kill newer and bad players.
so when you see a lvl 14 with all the best badges destroying every player in the game.
Its not assuming its a smurf anymore.
smurfs are rather easy to spot.

@DaAceXD I’m in gold and have some of those badges. I’ll probably make it up to diamond eventually, but I’m not sure I’ll make predator. I had no interest in ranked for a long time because I was not good enough for it.

Smurf accounts are a big issue in non-ranked on xbox at the moment. Some of them are cheating, some of them are just good.

@DaAceXDI noticed smerf accounts leaving in ranked if the other guy drops. So the smerf gets penalty after doing it to many times and allows his buddy to not lose points. A “work around” to alt4 players in ranked. Hope Respawn catches on and bans these guys like people who team up with cheaters.

@DaAceXD well you can't actually tell, for example I am grandmaster in overwatch but I week ago I transferred to apex with my overwatch skills I can easily get 4k's and 20 bombs but it is still my first time playing

@hufexchanI call b.s. no way you step into Apex and start dropping 20 bombs! Lies! I watched all the pro players when the game came out and none of them did what you claim. It took them a while.

Smurfing isn't the problem, it's SBMM.
You want to know where the fun in smurfing is? Let me tell ya, it's way more balanced than regular play for most of the players.
With the amount of smurfs you encounter a lot of good *and* bad players. Just like it was supposed to be!
Theres no shame in smurfing, they have to tweak or remove it, simple as that.

@DaAceXD I think some people find fun in viciously slaughtering helpless noobs. I mean, it is literally like shooting fish in a barrel, a massive, slightly deadly barrel, and the fish are shooting back, but it is still the same thing, kind of.
