I believe the only thing they have changed is that they start you on low end of grouping and the better games you have it just moves you up like ranked til eventually your right back to the pre made predator teams. Case in point won one match in my second game of day against lower level guys then the next game got killed by a predator team that every member had 24k+ kills.
so basically it’s just reversed instead of starting you high sude and keep dropping you down for poor games you go up for play well. Basically there is nothing random in an open game you are still being forced to play in a ranked system whether it’s open play or ranked. Game becoming less and less fun my playing time slowing going more and more away from Apex. And like so many other I’m not giving any more money for a new season to a game that just not as fun anymore for a average to above average player. But they don’t care. Trying to the top and protect the bottom which makes no sense since most people are just smurfing now to find a fun not sweating a hard game.

i noticed the same exact thing couple of day ago , it start low then the better you perform the more intense it become till you end up with high tier predators .
and as you said i also getting more and more away from this game , i started playing this game since first week and i was having so much fun that it was the only thing that makes me happy after a long day at work .
but now its stressing me out so much that am avoiding it when am not in the mood to tolerate,regardless from the SBMM issue also the sniper meta and some unbalanced legends it's making this game a stressful experience rather than a way to have fun.
not to mention that even on console which is PS4 that am playing on there is cheaters that using hardware that give them the ability to use single fire weapons with rapid fire mode , or you encounter someone who don't miss a single a shot from 500 M away with the ( Super weapon ) G7 while am running .
i squad up with my friends who is experienced players that started playing this game from beginning and even they are feeling the same , so its not only me to say that maybe my performance have deteriorated ,we even had one friend who used to take out full squad on his own with no problems and he stopped playing this game because of the wired things that its happening with it .
so if this game don't get fixed soon then it will be the beginning of the end which i really which that never happen , this game and devs deserve the best and deserve to be and stay the top but i think the devs should start doing what they see is right not what other people tell them to do , this game is their baby and they know what is the best thing to do with it.
- @maximas1986 I think one of the hardest thing with SBMM is that the devs can't show what affects your ranking without people then exploiting it.
My lobbies got easier for a week and now they're much harder, it's possible the devs are working on a way to fix the issues with SBMM but they're always adjusting it so it'll keep changing all the time, we'll just never know why we are in the lobbies that we're in.
