Mine bet is a 3 hour delay, with lots of tweets at respawn, then people instantly forgiving them now they see Olympus
Or a 20000 year delay because they wrote one too many zeroes onto the update, and now it releases in 20200
Or it could release at normal time.
But normal time is for optimism. We don't do that here.
@hayhorLast season drop with crossplay actually did not even raise the logged in player account hardly. It added maybe on high end 120k people out of the normal 1.1m so it at the launch of season 6 and weeks later changed none. I pay close attention to logged in players and such to see if the game has taken a dent from a change or non effected. With that being said the servers will be taking no hit they dont every day. Most login servers can handle quite a lot logins at once. ts why when you see DDOS they are having to push over 10k logins at a time. Because most game companies account for player DDOS from logins.
It's gonna be HUGE file, 20GB at least. With everybody doing at same time, I think they will throttle the max download speed per user so it's gonna take 1-2 hours to get it.
Since it's 10 pm my time, I will just start then go to sleep, I will play in the morning.
For me its gonna be till friday I cant get on till friday.
The servers will be unable to contain themselves with the new update, so I'ma wait a day.
