Regarding the verification code, could you check whether messages from that email address or phone number might be getting blocked or filtered on your side?
If the code still isn’t working and you no longer have access to the old recognized device, the best next step would be to contact our support team. If you don’t have access to your email address or can’t log in, our support can try to help recover the account, and the “recognized device” option is not available to everyone every time.
We wouldn’t be able to recover or verify the account from the community side, but you can try the support route here:
On that page, scroll to the bottom and click Contact us. It may also help to have ready any usernames linked to the account, your old EA ID, console IDs, and any invoice or purchase details you still have, since those are listed as useful for account recovery.
