I got almost 6k. with her, pretty much i get them in Season 4(second half), and the first part of Season 5, and then i`m just coming for a day or two to see how i`m doing(i`m grinding hard on Kovaak), but i pretty much stopped played seriously half at the Season 5, exactly at the lost Treasures update.
Just can`t take too much *****.
That being said i watch regularly some of the fair pro that are left, like ShivFPS, Hakis, and few others.
BTW i didn`t even knew her smoke was nerfed this season. It wasn`t intentional, but she is still f******.
But still i can tell you a thing or two for Bangalore.
And as i said she is useless in competition and in high ranked. She pretty much gave you nothing.
Smoke will actually hurt you more, than will give you a benefit for anything.
ShivFPS was playing some tournament with her, cause he refuse to switch, and there was moments were his smoke pretty much hurt him and his teammates, and diffq wasn`t happy about it. Tho diffq is an emotional diva, he was right in this situation.
I`m strictly talking about Competition. On High Ranked she is still useless.
On Pub, if you have good fundamentals on mechanical skills and good thinking and game sense, every legends is viable.
Now if you ask me, is she a Rampart level legend ? Definitely no. She is better. She is better than Fuse and Loba too for sure. Better than current Wattson as well.
As far as other legends, its depends how you look at it, straight as a 1vs1 or solo, or what she brings to the table both for you and for your team.
Cause if we take everything in the consideration, the rest of the legends(can`t say anything about current state of Caustic tho) are pretty much more useful than her, except for Mirage. But if you look at the solo department, he can quite easily trick you, and his ult can win you a fight or two, tho he brings nothing to the table, and in a team game, yeah she is definitely better than him without a doubt.
But the rest are just offering way better tools.
Gibraltar for example are just a superior version to her. He is doing everything she can do, but he can do it like 10x time better.
Better ult, better tactical, and probably better passive as well. Lifeline with her auto-revive brings a lot to the team, Horizon is busted all over. Crypto is bringing more to the table, and actually he was used quite a bit at the Competitive stage. Bloodhound is 100x time more useful and superior in everything.
And at one point Bangalore and Bloodhound was 100% on par, and right now he/she is so so much better than her.
Revenant pretty much shut you up, and his ultimate is super useful, if you know what you are doing, same as his passive, but most people don`t know how to play him. He was actually as well used quite a bit in the competitive stage.
Now he is being tested with Octane, and its a solid option.
Wraith is superior, an Wraith pretty much will get buff in the next patch, at least her LP will be gone, and probably buff to her tactical, and she will be at the top once again.
Pathfinder with no LP is better, and Octane is meta for a lot of players now.

@Daze623She is very powerful imo but in a rank setting certainly not. Def with the new bang smoke change all because of switch being trash platform that cant handle real graphics but want place them in a graphic intense game.
Her ult you are very lucky if it actually hits people her smoke as i mention easily seen through at certain points of the smoke. Her passive is mainly only thing that makes her quite strong. That boost of speed is night and day difference on if they can survive or not. So with that being said I feel she is a joke legend that will never be viable till they rework her timers on things.- @Zamaha400 That's not really a good reason to not be straightforward with your answer. - @E9ine_AC That's a good reason to think she's a joke legend but in my opinion not being strong in rank just means you're off-meta. I only consider legends a joke when their kit is so bad it just makes me go "why do I even bother using this ability(ies)?" like Caustic,Rampart and old Mirage.
Regarding Bang's kit. I don't have that issue with her tactical(maybe I'm just blind lol) it looks like a thick smoke to me and I can barely see through it. Her passive is strong but there's a good requirement for it to activate. Her ult I do agree is pretty situational and can have a bit more adjusting. Daze623, i just don't get it. How old are you? I'm asking seriously.
I have explained it with a super long post, why Bangalore is not a viable option in Ranked, and in Competition, there is so much better option than her.And again her smoke is a 50/50 thing. Its not an escape mechanism, forget about being the best one, as you trying to describe it, and then try to turn the attention from it ....
Most of the legends have better escape mechanism. Wraith for example, this is a solid one. With a bit of brain you pretty much have it all. Even if you being stuck with ARC, you simply Q it and will not die. You dodge pretty much every ult in the game, and in any damage coming. Its get speed boost, and if you know what you are doing, you will get away.I don`t know why should i write the same thing over and over again.
Bangalore was a solid choice, and the middle ground as what a balanced legend is and should looks like, but that was at the beginning at S5. Since then they totally mess up the legends balance, mainly the abilities. The game is super ability dependent now and i just can`t like that.While Apex have so good and unique mechanics and does so many things right, its also does so many things totally wrong.
And again in Pubs with a decent amount of spend time on a certain legend and a decent amount of mechanical skill and knowledge you can make every single legend viable and not being a joke "tier".
Lastly Bang ult and tactical are a dependable tools. Sometimes will work in your favor, sometimes not.
Easy thing to make her better, and this should have been in the game from the beginning is to entirely dodge her ult, not getting slowed or damage by her rocket.
Her smoke is a different story, but i don`t think Bloodhound, Crypto and so on should be able to see you with their abilities.
As i said tho i liked her the way she is it, but they should have balanced the rest of the cast towards her, but they totally messed up.

A joke legend are those legend that is so weak it makes you question why you play them like Rampart and Caustic. A non-viable legend are legends that can still shine but not as great as the S-tier legends example of non-viable legends are Loba and Mirage. The question is not if she's viable, the question is do you think she's a joke legend?
Another thing, there's a big difference between "Being one of the best" and "being the best one" .Her smoke and passive compared to Wraith's tactical I would choose her smoke and passive everyday. I didn`t know there is a specific tier list with certain words, like joke tier. :D

The only time i used the word joke, was about Bloodhound being able to scan and see Bang through the smoke. This is a joke.
As far as Caustic goes, the legend was not joke a joke even slightly. It was super strong, before the nerf, which was kinda overkill. But now i will get you with the joke phrase, you can`t call a legend joke, thats pretty much wad dominating for kinda some serious period of time. Caustic was heavily used in ranked and in competition actually. It was the main reason they changed how slowly the last ring closing. Cause you just spam his trap and ult, and everyone dies in it.And believe me this happen almost every game on high ranked and in competition.
As far as not viable, see this is another case of a words that are being seeing completely different.

Its an absolutely nonsense why we are even on the same topic on a thread that are not even for Bangalore.
Wraith tactical in the right hands s**** on Bangalore tactical any days of the week, any hours of the day and any minutes of the hour, and any second .... ah you get my point.
Its not even close to compare it.With Wraith you completely dodge every single ult in this game, and there is plenty of nasty ones. You can reposition yourself without taking 0 damage, you can escape if you know what you are doing pretty much most situation. You also dodge any nades, and escape a certain death if they stick you with an Arc star.
As far as the passive, if we just look at the two, Bangalore its straight up better, but Wraith passive fits her kit perfectly and can safe your ... in many occasion.
There is a reason why top streamers were picking Wraith for 99,99% of the time. She is still picked heavily, but now most switched to the next busted thing - Horizon.
Bangalore and Wraith are not comparable.
Next season Wraith will probably get her LP removed, she will get buffed and will be top 2 pick again, and Bangalore will still be average.

BRUH. That's why I keep asking you if you think she's a joke legend or not because the whole discussion started when he claimed Bang was a joke legend which later he clarified that if you compare Bang to the S-tier legends right now she comes off as a joke which I do agree.
Regarding Caustic I'm talking about post-nerf Caustic. I call him a joke legend now cause he can't even do his job properly which is area control. I've seen so many players just sit in his gas and just pop syringes while inside said gas.

To be fair I only responded to a guy that said Bang was a joke legend and then you responded to what I said.
The main reason I like Bang's kit more is cause of the utility it has compared to Wraith's. Wraith's kit is really great for defensive purposes but Bang's kit has more utility.
The thing I "hate" about Wraith's passive is how hilarious it is when you get shot at and then you hear your Wraith go "I think someone has a shot at us". It's really great to find out if there are squads nearby though.

Yeah but then again it's both a blessing and a curse to be average. That means you don't have to change your playstyle much compared to when Wraith got the cast time on her tactic and it screwed over a lot of Wraith mains. The only reason i play Bang over Wraith is, cause Bangalore is barely picked. :D
With Wraith i should constantly play different legend, cause 90% of the player base pick her(this is a stretch but you know what i mean).As far as offensive use, Bangalore is absolutely defensive legend. Wraith can be used more offensively with her portal to push and still be safe. You got it pretty wrong here buddy. Wraith was the most aggressively used legend, which is obviously offensive, and she is still a top 3 in that department.
As far as Tiers go:
This thing is old as you know what i mean.But lets use the most common variant, which MK games also use:
S+(or S++) - OP/Broken - HorizonS - Top Tier - Giby, Blood, Octane
A - High Tier - Wraith
B - Mid Tier - Revenant, Crypto, Lifeline, Path, Caustic(he is still strong)
C - Semi-mid tier - Bangalore
D - Low tier - Watson, Loba, Fuse, MirageE - Garbage bottom Tier(totally non viable) - Rampart
This pretty much is my tier list. You can kinda switch some legends, depends on the situation. Like Loba could be with Bangalore, cause she is great for looting.

Bangs OK but not as good as she could be.
Not a joke legend, however not a serious threat in the grand scheme things.
