So what exactly is the Madison, WI studio doing?
It has been 9 months since EA laid off 200 Apex QA testers and announced that Respawn was starting up a 3rd studio in Madison, WI. What exactly is that studio doing?

My guess would be that it's just your standard office, with nothing too special attached to it.
Looking at their careers page, I can see they've had some open positions in Madison for the following (But not limited to):
- Technical Game Designer
- Technical Designer
- Gameplay Designer
- Gameplay Engineer
- Technical UI desginer
- UX Designer
So from what I can see, just seems like another office space so they can have more people work on the game.
- @XHelperZ More specifically, what have they actually done for Apex? Have they delivered any content or fixes?
Whatever the studio or it's employees are responsible for it cannot be anything to do with the actual gameplay because the game across all modes is an unplayable buggy mess & I speak as someone who plays on the PS5 & XBOX X.From the start of a match whether it be BR,Gun Run or Deathmatch I'm experiencing very choppy framerates,slowdown & very laggy gameplay.I'm not going to uninstall & reinstall the game on either format as from experience that just isn't a solution.
As for the new Madison studio I'd only envisage them being in charge of knocking out a variety of yet more new skins.
