SOLO Mode! SOLO Mode! SOLO Mode!

I’ll make this short & as nice as possible.

Respawn, can we PLEASE get SOLO Mode as a Permanent game mode.

I’ve honestly had it with trying to play this game anymore on a regular basis, as it just makes me so irate.

Trying to play each time and spending hours, and match after match of teammates dropping in a hotzone only to die in the 1st 2 mins of every game….

Yes, occasionally I get paired with competent players but that is like 10% of my matches.

We need to have a Permanent mode, where we DO NOT have to rely on other peoples skill to be successful at playing a match.

That is all.

doubt that will ever happen, but one can dream. Duos is dead on my server anyway, maybe we need a replacement 🤔

@Cheese9Man see my previous post in response to the queue times. Also team game dynamic is pretty broken with how sbmm is whenever you actually try to team with friends, plus bad sportsman randoms. If anything, Solos can help strengthen the team dynamic by letting players get better at 1v1s & other skills that could translate to them being a better player. Especially players new to the game. They get a better understanding of the mechanics of the game & adapt to it without worrying about slowing down more experienced players or hearing discouraging talk from them which can help with new player confidence.

Well, a mode shouldn't be discounted just because people might team. Then we can't have trio ranked either. They should just ban and remove people who team. Ez clap. And I think Scorpion is right here, it would be a good mode for people to learn some core mechanics at their own pace and not have a 3-stack revtaning your *** on trios.

@Lord_Scorpion34I'm not against solos. I actually want solos to come back and replace duos. I'm just telling Respawn's typical excuse of queue times and "apex is a team based game".

On Lifeline, of course all legends can still be used on solos but why would you pick lifeline compared to wraith, octane or pathfinder in solos? Nothing against LL but you're severely limiting yourself to a passive-less legend in solos.

@CCbathwater Whilst you are not wrong in principle but I imagine teaming in 3 team squads would be much more difficult logistically (odds of being put in same match) so it's less of an issue. I'm sure it happens but nothing like Solos. Still think it's a bad idea and they've already tried it.
EA will be doing close analysis on new modes introduced and as it hasn't become "a thing" yet I am guessing their analysis is similar to what I've said. They would introudcue it then you'd get a non stop flood of bitching on here about teaming, etc. I can't say I disagree.

@RockDokRock Fair enough. And I'm sure if they felt they could earn +5000 bucks adding a solo mode, they probably would've done it already. 🤭

@SILVERisSORRY I wouldnt play it but I'm all for the option as it would give the people always complaining about randoms another option. Those same people would then say solos is too hard and complain about that too tho. Respawn tested solos and they say the data showed it led to less engagement. 🤷‍♂️

@hayhor Well yeah that kind of summarizes SOLO, of course there is less engagement, you are on your own, so……

…unless you meant engagement as in, attacking other players. 😉

@SILVERisSORRYI mean engagement with the game. They found people stopped playing the mode quickly. Think about this. With sbmm if you lose enough with randoms eventually the game throws you a bone and gives you a decent teammate or two. That cant happen with solo mode.
