(SPOILER)Are Amer Singh (Void Walker Story) And Crypto possibly the same person
(I'm hoping this won't be taken down since I'm mentioning Crypto, a new leaked legend for season 3 and I don't know-how EA and Respawn handle discussion of leaks? Also spoilers on the Voidwalker event/story video and on Crypto's official appearance leak. Also, it's late so I may have misspelled Crypto's name)
I watched the Voidwalker video as soon as it came out since I loved the story of this game to death and when they showed Amer Singh (The scientist implied to be behind the Wraith experiments) I noticed something, Crypto (Character leaked at a Gamestop Apex Legends Conference), and Amer look oddly similar to each other? I will point out some similarities between the two I noticed below:
Amer and Crypto both share...:
1. A similar straight combed down hairstyle (Amer's is slightly messy though)
2. Hair? (It's hard to tell if Cryptos leak image has brown hair due to the style or if it's brown because of that's the actual color)
3. Similar Skin tones (Again Amer's is slightly lighter but still around the same tone of a coffee creme brown.
4. Do both seem to have chin facial hair (Cryptos chin looks mechanical? Again since its a leak hard to tell so around release we should be able to tell.)
5. Similar body types (Broad shoulders, larger build, although Crypto does look bigger by comparison)
6. Both seem to be some kind of scientist (Amer being what seems an IMC Scientist on the Wraith Project while Crypto doing computer hacking and drone science)
7. Both somehow connected to Wraith (As shown how Wraith hacks the computer with what seems like Cryptos help while Amer is what made Wraith the way she is)
8. Similar Facial Expressions (Large Nose, Big Lips, Square and long head)
Ok so I know what some might be thinking, Amer has glasses and does have physical feature differences, Crypto is an Apex Legend not a scientist at IMC, and you know virtually nothing either character. And yes I know that this theory is more based on slight lore details and mostly physical features so it isn't the strongest theory and im willing to accept criticism for that. But if you guys have stayed with me up till this point I have two ways Amer and Crypto could be the same:
1. Amer is our Crypto in the dimension where our Wraith was saved because of Void Wraith. Basically what I'm saying is that what if Amer possibly went into hiding after the IMC Wraith incident, I mean after all they were burning evidence in one dimension so whos to say they weren't doing it in the other? Basically Amer might have been good with computers and changed himself and identity to Crypto so that way no one would know it was him, a similar tactic to how Caustic faked his death and came to the Apex games. Crypto possibly wants to take down the Apex games to perhaps prevent others from discovering the IMC labs and finding out hes alive for anyone who might know him. He might also have found out Wraith was participating in the Apex Games and try to get her again for more experiments as shown by how fascinated he is by Wraith and her powers. Basically Amer is running around as Crypto trying to stop the games as confirmed by the season 2 trailer for Apex.
2. Amer and Crypto are the same people but from alternate dimensions. Basically like how Void Wraith came in to save our Wraith in another dimension. Basically in our Wraith's dimension Amer or Crypto was basically working on the Wraith experiment on our Wraith and Void Wraith might have had Amer or Crypto in her dimension (Most Likely still disguised and possibly different personality) give Wraith the code to hack the computer in her dimension so she could save our Wraith? We have seen that theres clearly multiple different Wraiths for example with different timeline outcomes and different personalities since certain events never happened thus making a different Wraith. So whos to say other characters aren't like that?
I know my theory is messy and I'm willing to take suggestions, criticism, theories, and thoughts on this! Anyway, its almost 5 am for me so I'm going to bed after the hour I spent typing this. I hope you guys read this post and have enjoyed it!
