@DoYaSeeMe wouldn't it be easy to evaluate the match just pre jumpship, see player missing and discontinue match?

@DoYaSeeMe thank you. Notwithstanding predetermining connection stability, could an AI of some description not just look at the arena ranked or ranked game a nanno second before the off and if there arnt full squads, return the players to the lobby? It seems self defeating and costly to run a waste of time game, esp if it is happening in the numbers being reported and experienced? Or is it less costly to let the game run its course?

They added delay after we entering the game, probably they run some performance/testing in the background.
Finding all 60 players for BR could be challenging, I understand that.
But finding 6 players for Arena, can't be that hard right ??

The thing that you don't see is that disconnected players don't always stop sending data completely. Sometimes a few bits of information do arrive, with a delay small enough to not cause a timeout right away. In reality, there can be minutes until a connection dies completely, some of those resulting in legends that stop moving all of a sudden.
Throwing all people out when someone fails to connect can consume precious time and become very frustrating at some point. Players would still blame devs for the failed connections anyway. Personally, I prefer the way it is now, rather than getting re-queued. I even won a few arena matches playing 2 v 3, the best one being a 3-0 against a full premade squad
