What you ignore is that this game is advertised as a team game.
And what you do is pay attention to how it actually plays. Which is to say it plays like a solo game, and there are two people you can't kill, who might get you killed, and if they last as long as you do, might help you win.
Apex is a SOLO game. Unless you preloaded with friends.
- @KelRiever When you play with team, you all adapt to each-other. At first you are 3 solo players, but with time you start to play as a team. You are right, but it doesn't mean that nothing can be improved.
And even if you play with friends, if one of friends will not be on your level and will constantly ruin game for squad, then you will replace him pretty soon. Team play will be best when you are all on the same (or close) skill level and you all play in same style.
Good or bad experience between randoms is 100% on devs. If they mix together players with completely different play-styles, skill, then of course it will lead to negativity in game and bad experience for all players.
For example i have 2200+ hours in game and i constantly have to play with newbies who don't understand how to play and how to win. For me it's torture and i can't understand why i have this punishment.
@Cheese9ManAgreed, since many days I never get any win (compared to the last season where I get al least 1 win for a day) bc I always die with 1-3 kills even before to get top 5 wth is wrong with the players this season.
- @Cheese9Man If people got materials and/or legend tokens for wins, people would suddenly be more focused on playing the mode than kills I bet.
- @Kyldenar I don’t think people would care for legend tokens though since you can’t get anything from that. Crafting metals on the other hand can sway a small number of players. Do you guys think that an apex pack for every 5 wins is fair for Respawn? Right now there’s no other incentive to win in pubs other than the dopamine of winning itself. Lol.
On the topic of hot dropping again. A lot of people don’t realize that the short queue times in apex pubs also contribute to hot dropping since in just a matter of seconds in the lobby, you’re already starting the next game (depending on time/place of course). I still want Respawn to try to have 2 separate drop ships if that changes things.- @Cheese9Man What if instead of 2 drop ships, every team spawned in a different random location?
