Strafing is moving side to side while firing
It doesn't matter if your ADSing or Not
it's still called a strafe.
Hipfiring is when you don't ADS and not moving side to side while you are shooting.
@RevenanT-G7 No strafing is moving side to side, PERIOD. Firing does not need to be involved. Wikipedia states: "In video games, strafing is the technique of moving the player's character from side to side, rather than forward and backward. In the context of first-person shooters, it refers to the movement alone"
Hip-firing has nothing to do with movement, and everything to do with ADS. Any shot when NOT ADS-ing, moving or not, is a hip fire. You're firing "from the hip" rather than using the gun's ironsights (built in) or optics (attachments)
