suddenly 100% CPU when having upper hand

Is there a new cheat that increases the cpu usage of the enemy or is it just a "coincidence"?

Happened now multiple times that when fighting a team, suddenly my CPU skyrockets to 100%, GPU usage drops, and the millisecond I get knocked it is back to normal ...

I know my system, it has nothing to do with "temperature, ram, background processes" or the other excuses that get told when such problems arise.

i had the same problem.
Go to the settings ingame and change the streaming budget to None. It gives u a warning but it helped me.
That just means that the game "loads" the map as u go. Second thing. U might want to try downgrading the resolution. Keep it at native but lower. It helped me

@Shertgun I've never heard of a cheat like that before. But if you're convinced it's a cheat and there's absolutely no way that it can be system related, then what is anyone else supposed to say here? They either confirm for you that there's a cheat, or they get told that it's not your system at all and there must be a cheat out there.

@nejackso1 I'm wondering if there's a speed hack cheat since I've experienced the same thing many times recently.

The reason I think it may be a speed hack is because this is the effect speed hacks cause in other online games I've played. The person using the hack teleports strangely around the map while other players are normal, and it causes massive lag spikes for other players as well.

I guess we'll have to wait and see. The timing is definitely suspect, since it only happens when you're about to kill members of the enemy team.

@Shertgun this is similar to something that happens on console, sometimes I face some opponents which start lagging and rubberbanding around when I aim or shoot at them but when the fight is over they seem to be fine with no lag
