I think it's fine as is, except I would add a timer after a banner has been picked up. There's no need to spectate teammates who don't want to revive you.
If I have a grudge against my teammates and have no plans to revive them, I generally don't bother taking the banners in the first place. So you can still leave when the timer expires.
Would take some next level grudge to risk taking banners and then intentionally not respawn. XD
Taking the banners and not reviving usually means that it's simply not possible. Also, from my experience, a good respawn after getting banners USUALLY takes more than 2 minutes, since the safe respawn beacon is more often than not very far from the place of engagement.
I really don't get ppl who seem to enjoy being killed upon respawn (those types keep pinging respawn beacon right next to where they died, gunshots all around).
