Support a Creator Option?

Is there any chance we can have a support a creator option? I watch Thordan Smash, Gaming Merchant, garret, Shrugtal and The Companion App for Apex Legends respectively.

These guys make great content and keep me in the know and since Apex is the only game I actively support, it would be nice if some of my purchases went to help support their channels.

It may even incentivise more creators to make Apex Legends comments and bring more players to the game. Just a thought. Thanks.

  • @shtupurgnamakit I think this is a great idea. I am baffled that no one else has got involved with this thread.

I watch Kobi, for me he's just simply amazing at this game and I like his journey. I watch a bit of Lulu too but her commentary is a bit too much for me at times.

It would be great to support a creator though, brilliant idea man!

  • @shtupurgnamakitI'm not sure I understand what you want? Do you mean buying stuff from Apex gives the creators money?

You have the option to give the creators money through various platforms through subscriptions, bits and other things. If you think most creators need money you should really look up what some of these people make.

@hayhor These are smaller YouTubers and some not. Some of the biggest content creaters have a support-a-creator code on Fortnite and COD. Why can't Apex have this?

@pandareno1999 Sound like you're busting my chops.

@pandareno1999 I can't speak for CoD, but I know Fortnite has this feature. Content creators set up a support-a-creator (SAC) code somehow, and anyone can enter 1 SAC, which then gives some percentage of proceeds from in-game purchases to that content creator. This does not, however, offer any sort of discounted prices on purchases. It just gives some portion of the proceeds to the assigned content creator.

No chip, I thought you were being sarcastic as in that was something everyone already knows. Sorry about that, I misinterpreted, so Yes 🙂

@shtupurgnamakit I didn't know so that is two people in this thread that didn't.

I just don't see the point. Why not just give the streamer money directly?
