The fall of Apex

One thing is for sure - "The fall of Apex" is definitely on the EU server. It's simply a breeding ground for cheaters. Currently the most dominated server by them. If you play Apex - avoid this server at all costs. Believe me, it's better to have 120 ping and less cheaters than 30 ping and half of them in the lobby.

No one believes the propaganda sponsored by Respawn anymore about how great they are at fighting cheaters. This is a region that is no longer playable.

My games on the EU server - I enter, die and leave - and so I repeat until the end.

I will only say that I have a KD of 2.35 (only solo q) before someone says "skill issue".

Yeah, new servers - switch to Amazon? - kinda improved crazy no-reg situation present a few seasons ago, maybe matchmaking became a bit faster because of fewer region servers available, but EMEA / EU central after D3 is totally unplayable because of hackers. Back in the days you could improve situation via going to London, Belguim servers (a bit further from Russia / Asia / Middle East <- regions, countries where hackers are just bluntly obvious)...now though have to go straight to NA EAST = Ping from 40-70 to 120+ but totally agree with Blekerodo​ it is better than playing vs so many hackers. Sad thing is that I see at least Russians going there as well because NA has known to be per se easier one to play on = can farm even faster with hacks on.

As for Lazlo3o​ message - I will say only one thing: google some youtube videos about business plan behind free to play games :) and thanks for sponsoring it for us! Appreciated!

To be clear - I'm hitting fast D4 and only going to pubs because I'm not interested in playing against masters and preds in solo q.

I also encounter cheaters on NA - you can't avoid them, but it's much rarer.

When I enter EU - I feel like half the people have WH. Everyone knows my move, I always get hit in the back. It's just a waste of time playing on this server. And that aim... People always hit everyone like they were some kind of robot. It's just crazy.

EA/Respawn - do something about it, because I don't remember it being this bad in terms of cheaters on this server for many years.

Cronus/Xim are still up and running because (Edit: Removed name and shame content, do not name and shame on the forum please)  is still pushing that **bleep** and has over 22k kills this season. Still no ban, gg.

Yeah I don’t fall for that crap. I play for free. I’m not spending money on overpriced digital items. You won’t catch me dropping to my knees for them just bc it’s “just business” or “always been this way”. It’s this way because a lot of fools fall for it

I guess I am somewhat "BSMD" because since I started Apex in Season 7 I actually liked the grind, mission impossible type of games - where I am total underdog - vs where you get 5+ KP without even trying too hard.

Given I am "gifted" and reached P2 or P3 on my first attempt at ranked and then since season 9? every split when I played I got to Diamond4+ I have had an experience that P1 or lower lobbies are just too easy most of the time and always have been. The gap between P1 or lower vs D4 is just too big and always has been like that in Apex, you just go straight from "easy / normal" to basically "hardcore" mode where every mistake is punished, as soon as you lose teammate Preds and other hackers just hunt you down even from other side of the map etc. Which since season 7 has made players quit ranked as soon as they get D4 (sort of bragging rights and cosmetics) or for one on roller/exploiting/boosted go to borderline Masters (hard flex like they gods of the game + cosmetics). Which ruins the point of ranked imo. Respawn / Apex has underdelivered the most in this aspect = there is no bridge between soloq or even when you find people on LFG discord servers between D4 and Masters + too much hacking at that level. Not only unbridgable skill gap between good player and hacker / Pro 3stacks but also mental struggle - really have to rat out most of the games while trying your absolute best just to break out of D4, not a pleasant experience and more often just feels totally like mission impossible.

As of late though Diamond has lost its "glory" -> What has become worse over past 5? seasons is that Respawn did allow less skilled players to get into D4 (back in the days it was 3-5% tops 8% if not mistaken of players being D4-D1, something like 0.3% in Masters and 0.1% in Pred), now D4-D1 contains like 30% of player base of ranked which is just crazy and thus creates this imo worst experience possible were you get:
1. a few Pred/Master 3stacks per lobby whom will farm the lobby
2. lowest skill players are just "bot like" (P1 or even close to ex-Gold level game awareness and skill set) - talking about players who don't use any audio, any comms, drop into 3+ teams and hope to kill them all while doing on average like <200 damage per game in D4+ lobbies
3. hacker % increase per lobby + smurfs
Basically Diamond lobbies are more trash/random than I would assume Platinum or Gold would be where player count is lower yet more evenly distributed (all are equally average / bad vs average/bad playing top of the tier).

Glad to hear that, from your initial post I got impression that you have spent a lot on the game :)

Clearly there is some sort of generational thing which some of us don't get / are not emotionally flawed to understand :)

But yeah just yesterday a grown up man playing Wattson erupted on discord on me after I said that his bright white/pink skin is so much more visible on any map pretty much and gives competitive disadvantage to what he replied that:

a) I am hater, toxic person

b) every skin is equally visible in game

c) even with that skin he will do much better than me (he did not, got deleted while looting in D3+ lobbies)

So yeah... but still thanks to all of those people - easy kills and free to play game :)

I am quite aware of CS success factor and skins as well as I don't use chatGPT or similar tools = all content is brain made, braindead maybe but at least brain made :D

Also my point given above said was to emphasize how "typical" Apex player behaves, what are his/her values given Apex is no CS and most of those type of players I described above are not monetizing their cosmetics rather wasting their finances on them.

All these offshore accounts joining NA servers to play due to cheating are causing lag on the servers and creating a higher TTK for NA players and not for them. then all these cheaters crash the spawns and kill everyone as they respawn... I played 6 games today where half the team quit due to all the cheaters and lag in the games.  If you watch the cheat code sellers they admit that they can defeat the cheat detection. They even tell you how to inject the cheat codes to allow auto-aim, radar and wallhacks.
