Last night one of the champions in a game had the highest tier of the Monster Energy Badge, looks like a green battery. If y’all don’t know this is a badge you get by redeeming codes from Monster Energy Drinks, the catch is you have to buy a ton to get most of the rewards. That high tier battery badge is worth 45 cans or roughly $100 USD. So this is a legit pay to win badge lol. The guy also had 4K/20 bomb badges so idk maybe they were just fueled by Monster. Anyone else seen someone with this badge?

Finally saw one in Tokyo. I doubt that he’s from Japan though since it’s not available here.

@dSKyNafinchin None of the badges do obviously; I couldn’t think of the word for it but I was thinking of how people pay for 4K/20 badges I guess. I myself don’t drink them either but I did get one since I had to work all weekend and I noticed that they were doing Apex promos so that’s how I found out about it

Tell you what, when I get to the top tier, I'm rocking that badge. My daughter's reasonable Monster habit is gonna be winning me games, boy. I see the badge sometimes. Rogue was displaying it in triplicate at the beginning of the season, I don't watch him to know if that's still the case.

Not sure what the point is in a badge that you literally seem to just buy,

@MyName1sNotJohn While that is most definitely absurd... I wouldn't classify it under pay to win. A badge doesn't make you any better or improve your chances at winning. But yea, I wouldn't even drink one Monster, let alone 45!!
