@gokuzmajCurrent ranks do not matter, so just don’t worry about them and especially don’t take them as any indicator if the person can play.
The matchmaking is okayish, there will allways someone be at the receiving end. That’s nothing respawn can fix.
Also I do by now believe that a higher chunk of mmr comes from placements, meaning if you hit top 10 a lot you mostlikely will get a high mmr where you shouldn’t be
@matzesingt I've been saying for a long time that even in pubs, top 5s had a huge affect on the MM so that wouldn't surprise me in ranked. It is why people that do not fight in pubs until the end usually run into some really good team and get stomped.
