The Sentinel, How to buff it. Increase range to 500 meters plus.

There is no reason to use the Sentinel.

It is outclassed by the longbow in every way.

Either give is major buff or remove it from the game.

Its useless.

Many times have tried using it as a long range sniper and have died to the longbow, tripletake, and charge rifle in the process.

It doesnt deal enough damage.

It dosent have a 2x headshot multiplier

Its disruptor rounds are a useless gimmick.

Its has to much bullet drop.

How to buff:

Increase range.

"Make it the longest range weapon in the game."

-Increase projectile speed by 50%

-Reduce bullet drop by 100%.

*Bullet should fly flat up to 250 meters.

*Minor bullet drop at 500 meters.

-Give 2x headshot multiplier.

-Increase shield cell storage to 6.

-Create special 20x scope for sentinel.

*Only Sentinel can use.

Its a bolt-action rifle.

It should be the longest range weapon in the game.

@hhnbbfggty66 I'm on the fence with this one.

When it first arrived I wasn't impressed, I felt the Longbow was a preferred choice for me. Faster fire rate, strong enough, etc.

But now, weirdly, I feel myself leaning the other way and I'm not sure why. I think a lot of it depends on the sort of engagements I enter into, and how my teammates are. If we're rushing - Longbow. Cautious - Sentinel. I love the sound and look of it, it feels like a "proper" sniper.

That being said, due to its low rate of fire and the way the shield charges expire over time, I wouldn't oppose a buff of some sort. I agree that as a bolt action, it should have more advantages in other areas.

Best sniper (disregarding the Kraber ofc) is the Triple Take anyway, beast of a weapon.

@littlxrI see you are a man of culture as well. Also i like the Sentinel when playing Lifeline cause the blue bins and ultimates give you a ton of unused shield cells anyway. That and it looks hilariously large on her, like how oversized the Spitfire is when Wattson uses it, looks so adorable.

Since i never really touch any sniper, but doesnt a charged sentinel crack even red evo completely onehit?

@littlxrI have no compassion for the pitiful Sentinel.
I was joking earlier, but yeah it needs a buff. Its a kinda cool gun but has no direction yet. I hope respawn make it a 500 meter sniper. It would be nice to have an extra-long range sniper. Apex needs one. Something that shoot straight, flat, and fast. Something that can easily get knocks at over 500m with some skill, and maybe even shoot through down shields to secure those long range kills. Maybe a perk of disruptor rounds, the ability to shoot through downshield. Maybe the Sentinel should be a minature rail gun. It has potential, with the right buffs it would be nice.

@hayhorNo, the kraber is a 1 shot kill, brick chunking cannon.
It doesnt have much range and lot of bullet drop.
I am speaking of a weapon that can shoot far and flat. That is not a 1 shot kill weapon, but will deal modest damage and reward shot placement.

The damage of 70 is good but not overpowered due to slow firerate.
Also at rage a 2x headshot will be 140, that a little more that tripletake headshot of 120. The Sentinel needs a 2x headshot multiplier.

@hayhor I would prefer the damage be dropped to 60 and be given a headshot multiplier 2x.

But most importantly, I need something that can snipe at over 500 meters without me having to tilt the gun to the sky to rainbow the project. I neex something that can shot flat and fast to 500m or more that require skill to use but dosent feel seemingly imposdible to use. Something that can use a 20x scope or even 40x scope.
