I don't see an issue with the the player base that actually made the billions Apex has made to date, be given some information as to what their money is doing for the game we had a huge part in making successful.
I fail to see how paying gets rid of cheaters. Can't the cheater just pay too and be in your lobby anyway? And what sort of anti-cheat tools are they withholding atm but would employ on a "paid" server to ensure it would cheater-free?
My logic was if actual money were on the line people would be less likely to cheat or create smurf accounts, not wanting to risk a ban. Also, with more money more staff could be hired to improve surveillance and increase the quality of the anti cheat system and servers.
- @CCbathwater Think about the people that keep making accounts due to bans. How many more times would they spend the money?
- @hayhor How many are those though? People here continuously claim that Respawn doesn't even ban the non-PS5 zens, XIMs, and whatever. Why wouldn't they just pay and continue to XIM in your lobby, like they've done for 5 years already?
- @CCbathwater The hardware ones that are hard to detect would still buy the game. Even ones that use software cheats on PC probably would buy one account. But would they buy if banned? What about the 6 and 9 man teams that people see? Would they make another account?
