Thoughts on Finishing Moves?

I go back and forth on whether or not I like the implementation of finishing moves in Apex Legends.

On one hand, it adds something to the game that others don't have and it is satisfying to be able to use a finishing move on an annoying player that you managed to knockdown.

But on the other hand, nothing makes me feel more infuriated and disrespected than having someone perform a finishing move on me. It just makes me want to rage quit more than anything else in this game.

What are your thoughts on finishing moves?

    @IAmTheMeddler There is only one instance where I will use a finisher. That being at the end of the game, if the last enemy player goes down and has a gold knockdown shield, then I will use a finisher on him. Otherwise, they are useless.

    @SixthOTD  i get your point, they are useless. (Well unless you have a gold body shield)

    But they're not supposed to serve any function other than a 2's up to the person you've just filled with bullets.

    It's purely an insult to injury function, so whether or not its useful isn't really a factor.

    It's just infuriating because it's like: "Dang, ok you got the drop on me. GG... Oh, come on. Don't do it, bro... Ok, so now you are just going to rub it in my face and force me to watch you finish me."

    For me, I think the whole camera angle change which forces you to watch them do it is the frustrating part. haha

    But even despite these situations, I still wouldn't take it out of the game.
