Oh no, I'm already not liking this. For someone like me that can't get kills it seems disastrous. I already have trouble finding blue or red armor and making it that much harder will put players like me out of the game. I don't know what a "crafter" is (this is only my third month), but it sounds like I will have to learn if it's another way to get gear since I've only gotten 3 kills in the 3 months I've been playing. I hope they rethink this eventually.
Anyone know the original drop rate for the armors? I mean, if the 30% means going from 3% to 2% chance of appearing in a loot bin then this may not be so bad, but if it's a huge percentage, or like 30% to 20% (it seems more rare, like single digit to me) then it could be bad.

Back in my day we had to call the Nintendo Power Hotline for tips. There was no internet to just get FACTS from! $0.99 a minute plus the butt whupping with a belt from dad later for wasting all his money trying to find out how to get thru the forest in Legend of Zelda!

Honestly this whole thing sounds disastrous. While I agree no one should be able to rat their way to masters, I don't think changing the ring should have been the option to fix this.
The problem came from their overly generous ranked system. The devs need to stop messing with the damn ring and fix the mess of a rank system they made.
As for the Evo shield changes? I don't like it one bit. Better shields were already hard to find without taking them off of someone's body and not being the best player, upgrading mine through combat had been difficult to say the least.
I see this making replicators more sought after in game, leading to not only being rolled up on by another team while crafting, but third partied, and even subjected to having the replicators being camped by other players waiting to get a jump on armorless victims.
I have no hope for this season 18. The more I hear, the less I intend to play.
- @Kyldenar I rarely read the manuals when I was younger. I'd just figure it out as I went along lol. Was easier back then 😂!
Not digging the ring changes. How fast do they want games to be now?
Matchmaking also still not the best either. But I guess it is what it is at this point.
