I see alot of emphasis on mic/communicating here. Usually a mantra repeated by native English speakers in gaming. You'd be amazed how many people in Europe refuse to communicate in either Danish or English, in order to get a game of Apex going with me. Alot of them will wanna speak French, Spanish, or German. One of my last "BR" games two seasons ago, I had two... "teammates" who were obnoxious, and probably insulted me in what I correctly decoded to be Hungarian, which is... not English or Danish by a long-shot.
Pubs should not be a trashcan for ranked kids to come and be stupid in. Some us only play(ed) pubs and would like to actually play the game there, as ranked is dogwater and full of people whining over their rp. I would be more inclined to play ranked if they removed the ranks and the silly rp however. That could be fun.

So on point here. Pubs shouldn't be any more a playground for idiots than ranked, and there is nothing more at stake in a ranked match than in a pubs match, except whatever baggage a player carries into it based on whatever garbage the developer has filled their head with about what makes a player "good" or "serious" or "extra." The game is the same, ranked or otherwise.
I'd like to be able to agree with the op, but in my opinion a team-based game is already a dumpster fire when I'm expected to surrender my good judgment and experience to some two-season half-wit who thinks he knows everything there is to know about the game because he was once an alternate fill-in for some other guy in a Counterstrike regional tournament. Yes, communication CAN be important, but it can also be frustrating and useless. I would rather quit a match in second place, long after my squadmates are dead, than let them, still alive, drag me into a stupid, pointless, high-risk misadventure early in the game. And that's all anyone wants to do in this game. Ever.

Experienced is the word I would use to describe a day one player with over 20,000 matches, who, for whatever reason, is most commonly teamed with players who are on a suicide mission. I'm not being glib. I'm not being condescending. It's just the way matchmaking works in this game, at least for me. And I'm not trying to take anything away from anyone, even a squadmate, whose only goal for the match is to get in a gunfight as soon as possible. I can't help them anymore than they can help me, but I can acknowledge that it is what it is: different players with different match goals unfortunately put on the same team.
*snip*Either way, your experience in this game is not the same as mine so it's okay that you come at it from your own point of view.
