This has also been my experience. To the credit of inexperienced players who push at all times even when they're clearly at a disadvantage: it took me thousands of matches to build up the game sense to know when the push was a good idea. So I try to be patient with all the kids who are still learning. I just wish once in a while they'd listen when I try to ping them away from a bad push. But they never do.
