Tips for playing Bloodhound needed.

So with the last event I found the scan very useful and decided that I'd try to play him more this season. However I find him quite sucky haha. There is almost 0 mobility and I just get gunned down most of the time.
I usually play Loba, Mad Maggie, Vantage and Valkyrie which all have better ways to move around.

Do I just go as a sidekick or what role do I play?

I also usually run Hemlok + close range gun, but I find the Hemlok to be a bit slow when I can't move as much.

    Tip for playing Bloodhound: Don't.

    You already figured it out. He's too slow, except maybe when he ults, but even then you have no verticality so who cares?

    And the scan? Shows you where people are? Yeah, it shows them where you are too. A worthwhile trade off if your two teammates are on the ball. Good luck with that one. And the range makes it all but useless for a mid-range player like myself.

    @DrWizardo My buddy mains BH, but I use them a decent bit too. For both of us, we are more the back-player when using BH, offering cover/suppressive fire, while the other two do more of the initial push. Personally, I only find BH useful when my buddies are on, at least in BR. That scan is stupidly useful in Mixtape though, especially in Control, to show where the people are sitting in corners on objectives

    @DrWizardo i would play him mainly as some kind of backliner, scan to open a fight. Aside of that he is kinda meh while I like his ult in theory but the powercreep kinda screwed him a little

    @reconzero Been doing a little better today actually. It's a different style but I think it can be useful so I'll keep on trying.

    Might learn something from playing other legends too that even if this won't be a long time main, you get something out of it.

    @dSKyNafinchin Hmm. Ok so a little more passive. I did pretty well using Hemlok and Alternator/PK today, so I had kind of a medium-close range.

    @matzesingt I'm not very good so today I ended up in a bit easier lobbies and did well with the ult (people did not hit me that much). I do agree tho' that it's not like Revenant's thing where you get shields and faster jumps etc. I'll have to test around more.

    @reconzero Haha, my patience is actually really bad xD But perhaps in some aspects I have a little bit more patience. At least I can hope so :D
