CQC weapons have always been overpowered, and respawn don't know how to nerf 1 thing without making it completely useless. I really don't understand why they continuously nerfed the Scout from a sniper rifle to an assault rifle to lowering it's fire rate to making it a completely obsolete weapon that no one will ever touch in the game now. It had CQC capabilities due to it being high fire rate and easy to hip fire, but rather than nerfing hip fire they nerfed the whole gun so you can't snipe with it and you can't outfire an assault rifle and and you can't hipfire with it.. wtf is the point of it anymore then. This is a trend they seem to do with a lot of weapons.
Same with the Spitfire at the start of the game that thing was awesome when it came to CQC and it was decent at range now it just acts as a sort of crap gun that makes you too stationary when firing at range.
Shotguns are never going to be balanced in this game, I don't understand why devs add shotguns to games, unless you purposefully make them weak like a lot of games do they are just way too much trouble to balance, because what can you do but nerf the damage of a cqc weapon like that.
