Way too much thirsting
The amount of thirsting in this game is ridiculous, knockdown shields need a huge buff. Make them full body and can't be meeled through. People go out if their way to thirst, they will willingly lo...

Because it's 2019 and everyone deserves everything.
There is a lot of thirsting in this game, but there is a great reason for it.
Going out of your way to get the kill on a downed enemy at the risk of losing the entire engagement is bad, use your noggin. Everyone (should at least) knows this.
However this game has the nifty ability to ping. Those downed enemies are giving a constant feed of information regarding your position, essentially giving your standing teammates wallhacks . The KO shied can be used as great cover - even a downed enemy can be a useful bit of cover especially since, for whatever reason, a lot of the time they will just sit in front of you and hold their shield out. If I have the opportunity I'm probably gonna execute people I've downed.
As for third party thirsting. Why not? Free kill. Killing the standing opponents first is smart, of course. But not every situation is the same. Often times you're just an easy target.
You really just have to be smart about it. What pisses me off is one guy I had today started screaming at me on the mic cause I "stole his kill". All I did was chase a guy and down him. We dropped hot and were both meleeing him from the start! We ended up in a screaming match which is so typical in this game. I really need better patience.
But i'm pretty sure I don't get the kill unless I finish off the downed enemy right? So he was complaining about nothing. Maybe thats his thing he says to people so he can be the one to down them. Its a freaking team game, come on...
I think alot of players don't care about anything but their kill stat.

Actually, im pretty sure that if you down someone, you get the kill non the less. If he doesn't get helped up that is. So downing the whole squad will give you kills.
Therefore the priority should be to finnish of the squad before killing someone.
I usually hit a downed target to draw his squad to me, hoping that the downed guy screams in mick or calls out for help. Baiting! 👿

If im lasering somebody and my teammate comes and downs the person it doesn't bug me. Less to worry about in a firefight
