Respawn won't even say how they work with people who use Cronus Zen/Xim or various types of scripts. There are plenty of such people and nothing is done about it.
Matchmaking never existed, but now that there are very few players on PC, it is even worse than a few years ago. This game is completely unplayable even for an average player, and in solo queue even for the better ones. Constantly changing characters and spitting on those with low picks. Ahhh... Respawn, it's time to leave the stage.
OK; I'm all for criticism (god knows I have been brutal against match making) but you are totally entering conspiracy theory territory here and that helps nobody.
They won't tell you how they are combating Cronus/Zen or whatever because it's a secret. They will get an advance, Cronus will find a way around it. It's a never ending battle. Why would they publish how/what they do? That makes zero sense and is insane.
There *IS* match making in the game. It has its issues and the game can be unplayable at times (I just play something else then) but to say that is ridiculous. Any evidence/proof of that?
It takes time to figure out the game if you are new. If so, it's going to be hard for you; there is no way to sugar coat that. Steep learning curve as it's a mature game with a pretty good player base. I'm average at best and will stop playing sometimes when the game becomes unplayable for me. There is nothing you can do about that.
- @RockDokRock They need to take legal action against Chronus the way Fortnite did. They are not only profiting from Apex without a license, but they are sabotaging the game where legit players will want to quit.
I too don't like to lean toward conspiracy theories, but I think there needs to be a criminal investigation into the cheating problem, especially on the pc version as prevalent as it is becoming. It wouldn't surprise me if it were not a competitor of respawn or disgruntled former employee that is sabotaging the game. This just seems too prevalent to me to be internet trolls or guys using a digital badge to show off to their girlfriend, etc. It seems more likely a coordinated effort, especially when you see how many names have number strings, and how many squads work together and stack. Now, I could be wrong, I don't want you to think I'm spreading false info because I don't know this for sure, but all the circumstances point to this. Especially since everything all went downhill at once starting in season 20.
With the surveys they send out I'm sure they are working on a fix, but for now matchmaking and cheating are the two main problems with the game. I'd include hit reg in with that list, but I think the cheats have a parasitic effect on the servers and the hit reg problem will go away once the cheating issue is dealt with, you could probably include sbmm in that too since it will also improved once the cheaters are gone.- @AymCTL Criminal investigation? lol. Against who? To do what? I have no idea how that can possiby work and for any out of USA entities... what are you going to do about it? What jurisdiction do you seriously think they have?
- @RockDokRock I don't believe it is anyone outside of the USA doing this. If it is happening the way I believe it is, that someone is sabotaging the game through hacking in an effort to cost the game players, then it could definitely be someone here in the USA. I don't know who, and this is just a theory based on the way this is happening, but the ones with the motive or most to gain would be competitiors of respawn or a disgruntled former employee, both of which would more than likely be in the USA or have representatives doing business here, thus would fall under criminal jurisdiction here.
As for the devices, Fortnite was able to take legal action against them so apex could too.
As for the people caught coordinating attacks on the game, hacking is a federal crime, as is sabotaging a company's equipment.
@RockDokRock They won't say anything because they don't do anything. Man wake up! It's getting worse from season to season. It's not about the details, but they never said that they saw this problem and were working on it. NEVER!
@RockDokRockThey literally never once did anything against Cronus, not for a single day cronus was not useable in apex...
Not even a factory reset Cronus with 1.0 Firmware is banned...
- @BallisticMVP Why should they ? Those devices got sold in the millions, prolly half of their Apex revenue comes from cronus and xim/strickpack users.
Most of those players dont even see it as cheating (just look at the comments under the typical cronus config advertising video), since nothing was being done against it for years.
Would not be a good look at the next shareholder meeting.
